NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Game Lineup – Week 7 (Main Slate – 12 Games 10/23/16)

Each week, I’ll create a cash game lineup for DraftKings. Since this is usually posted by Wednesday, the cash game lineups may change slightly by Sunday.

In cash games, you should always look for each player to reach at least 3x value.

DraftKings Points/(Player Salary/1000) = Value

Example: If Carson Wentz has a $5,000 salary and scored 15 DraftKings (DK) points, Wentz would reach 3x value based on the formula below.

I will also present a 3x stat line. The 3x stat line is not a projection, but a hypothetical stat line that would allow the player to reach three times his value. When creating your own cash game lineup, choose players who you believe can reach the 3x stat line. If you look at a player and don’t think he can reach the 3x stat line, consider choosing a different option in your own lineup.

Week 6 Lineup Review

Our week 6 lineup did well. Even with a 0 from Sammie Coates, the lineup scored 160.98 and cashed in all of the 50/50s I entered. Getting tight end correct was very important in week 6, and luckily Coby Fleener got into the end zone twice.

See last week’s lineup below.

NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Game Lineup – Week 7

QBAndy Dalton vs. (CLE) – $6,000

I don’t like to play Dalton in fantasy because it seems like every time I do, he’s terrible. At the same time, the Bengals have a team total of 28 points, are at home, and are favored by 10.5 points. Dalton averages 18.9 DK points per game and the Browns are 30th against the pass (all defensive ranks are from Football Outsiders DVOA). At $6,000, Dalton is a great value.

3x stat line: 225 passing yards, 10 rushing yards, 2 passing touchdowns = 18 DK Points

Also consider: Matt Ryan vs. (SD) – $7,200, Blake Bortles vs. (OAK) – $6,200, Tom Brady at (PIT) – $7,900

RBDeMarco Murray vs. (IND) – $7,200

Murray disappointed in a matchup against the Browns last week, but still received 21 carries. Murray has at least 19 touches in each week this season, and the Colts are 32nd against the run. Lamar Miller scored 35.8 DK points last week when his previous best week was 18.7. Even though Murray didn’t catch a pass last week, he still averages almost five targets per game this season.

3x stat line: 18 carries, 86 rushing yards, 3 catches, 40 receiving yards, 1 touchdown = 21.6 DK Points

RBMike Gillislee at (MIA) – $3,000

Mike Gillislee at (MIA) – $3,000

I was ready to plug LeSean McCoy into my lineup again this week, but McCoy injured his hamstring in practice, so I’ll have to settle for Gillislee. The Dolphins are 24th against the run, and at minimum price, Gillislee doesn’t need a lot to return value.

3x stat line: 14 carries, 55 rushing yards, 2 catches, 15 receiving yards = 9 DK Points

Also consider: Mike Davis vs. (TB) – $3,000

WRA.J. Green vs. (CLE) – $8,600

Green is averaging 10.3 targets and seven receptions per game this season. He gets a game against the Browns who are 30th against the pass. The Bengals have a high team total, and Green has accounted for almost 35 percent of the Bengals receiving yards this year.

3x stat line: 6 catches, 108 receiving yards, 1 touchdown = 25.8 DK Points

WRMike Evans at (SF) – $7,800

The Buccaneers just lost Vincent Jackson for the season, leaving Evans, Adam Humphries, and Cameron Brate as the top pass catchers. There is no question Evans is the most talented receiver on the team, and he should be targeted heavily this week. Evans was already pacing the league with 12.4 targets per game before Jackson’s injury, so it’s reasonable to expect 15 targets this week against the fast-paced 49ers.

3x stat line: 8 catches, 94 receiving yards, 1 touchdown = 23.4 DK Points

Also consider: T.Y. Hilton at (TEN) – $7,700

WRAllen Robinson vs. (OAK) – $7,300

Robinson is also been fairly disappointing this season, but still averages 9.4 targets per game. Robinson has almost a quarter of Blake Bortles’ targets this year and the Raiders rank 28th against the pass. Additionally, the Raiders are 26th against WR1s, meaning Robinson should be in line for a big fantasy day.

3x stat line: 7 catches, 89 receiving yards, 1 touchdown = 21.9 DK Points

TE – Cameron Brate at (SF) – $2,900

It makes me slightly nervous that I’ll have three Buccaneers on the road in my cash game lineups, but at their price, it’s hard to pass up the value. Again, Vincent Jackson is out for the season, so I expect a slight bump to Brate’s targets. I’ll focus on the pace again too because the 49ers play at a high pace leading to more offensive snaps for the Buccaneers and more volume for Brate.

3x stat line: 4 catches, 47 receiving yards = 8.7 DK Points

Also consider: Jack Doyle at (TEN) – $2,500

FLEXJacquizz Rodgers at (SF) – $4,300

Last time Rodgers played when Doug Martin and Charles Sims were inactive, he scored 20.9 DK points and had 35 touches. While I don’t expect that volume, I do expect at least 20 touches, which is plenty to pay off his $4,300 price tag. To make it even better, the 49ers have given up a 100 yard rushing performance to a running back in each of the past five weeks, and nine touchdowns during that same time period.

3x stat line: 16 carries, 60 rushing yards, 4 catches, 29 receiving yards = 12.9 DK Points

D/ST – Patriots D/ST at (PIT) – $2,900

The Patriots D/ST is priced like they are playing against Ben Roethlisberger. Instead, they will face Landry Jones. I don’t love defenses on the road, but when a defense is incorrectly priced, I’ll jump on them in cash games.

3x stat line: 14-20 points against, 2 sacks, 3 turnovers = 9 DK Points (3.1x)

Baltimore D/ST at (NYJ) – $2,800
