Welcome to Week 6 NFL DFS! This is Spade or Fade for Daily Fantasy. We examine two players that we are endorsing as good plays to include in your lineup. We also give you two players that should be bypassed in favor of a player that has a better matchup for the week. All player prices are using DraktKings.

SPADE
Jameis Winston QB TB

Winston finds himself in a great situation for his first start of the season as the Buccaneers travel to play the injury-riddled Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons outlook on the defensive side doesn’t look very promising as they will be without some high profile players, safety Keanu Neal, linebacker Deion Jones, safety Ricardo Allen, are all out for the season. To make matters worse, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett is unlikely to start in this one as well. The Falcons are allowing 31.4 points per game(31st), 277.2 pass yards per game(23rd) and in the last three contests they have given up an incredible 37 or more points. The Bucs will easily exploit the Falcons shoddy defense and will do it almost exclusively through the passing game as they have struggled all season to establish any run game. Winston is a steal at $5,800 on DraftKings.

FADE
Lamar Miller RB HOU

Miller has been lackluster all season and now finds himself in a potential time share with fellow running back, teammate, Alfred Blue. Miller didn’t see the playing field in Week 5 due to a chest injury which opened things up for Blue who ended up with 119 total yards versus the Dallas Cowboys. The Texans match up against the middle-of-the-pack run defense Buffalo Bills for week 6. The Bills rank 12th in run defense giving up 96.2 yards per game. Miller looks likely to suit up for this one and shouldn’t be held back by the chest injury, but given the good results Blue put up last week, Miller might be used in a lesser role for this one.

Latavius Murray RB MIN

The Minnesota Vikings running game appears to be in a very favorable situation this week as they face the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are giving up a league-worst 38.6 points per game to running backs and are 31st in giving up 142 rush yards per game. Also of note, the Cards have allowed seven rushing touchdowns and 199.8 yards per game to running backs. The Vikings are favored by 10.5 points so they are likely to be up for most of the game which will result in more hand-offs to Murray rather then Dalvin Cook who has been injured of late only playing on 18 snaps over the last three games. Cook is priced at $5,700 and Murray is at $4,700. The hope is that the Vikings will use Cook sparingly in a game that they should handle quite easily, no sense in risking injury again with Cook, they are likely to give Murray the ball especially in the second half when the Vikes are likely to be up.

FADE
David Johnson RB ARZ

David Johnson failed to deliver in a very favorable Week 5 matchup against the 49ers, however, two scores in the 28-18 victory made it somewhat acceptable. Johnson only registered 55 yards on 18 carries while hauling in only two of the three pass targets for 16 yards. Week 6 brings on a tougher opponent in the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings defense has been a shell of its former self to start the season, ranking 21st in total defense. The rushing defense for this unit is slightly better ranking 13th. This home matchup against a very underwhelming Cardinals team could be a kick starter for the rest of the season as they are sure to be ready after letting the Bills steal one on their home turf a few weeks earlier. The game script doesn’t look good for Johnson here, expect the Vikings to trounce the lowly Cardinals.
