UFC Fight Island 5 Picks Wagers and Predictions

How’s it going fellow betting and fighting enthusiasts, Mr Fantasy Dimes here and were back with another set of great picks and wagers to enjoy for tonight’s UFC Fight Island 5. Tonights event is 13 bouts deep and even tho its a free event, there is some real bangers on this card. Check out my picks below:

Impa Kasanganay vs Joaquin Buckley

Impa Kasanganay is a gritty fighter, as tough as they come. Coming off Dana Whites contender series, he knows how to earn a victory. Joaquin also having recently made his debut, his story didnt go so well. Joaquin had a very tough opponent in Holland but he lacked real upside at any point of the fight. Impa and Joaquin are built very similarly and are both 26 years of age. The real difference in this fight is Impas power and his grappling. I see Impa showing his power to Joaquin and then taking him down to finish the fight. Im takning Impa money line at a not so friendly -220

Tom Aspinall vs Alan Baudot

If youve been following along you know how much we like to bet against UFC debutantes. This one is no different, Tom is going to welcome Alan to the UFC in a not so friendly way. Tom is a legit 6’5 heavyweight, but by watching him move, you wouldnt know that. The guys is super quick on his feet and is a very well rounded fighter. Alan is a dangerous striker but Tom will prove to be too much too early for Alan. Tom Aspinal is a super heavy favorite so I like another wager instead. I like Tom Aspinal to win by KO/TKO or DQ at a much nicer -160

Ilia Topuria vs. Youssef Zalal

This one has fight of the night written all over it. Topuria is making his debut and bringing his 8-0 record with him. 7 of those coming via submission, his last fight being his first KO, all of his fights have been stoppages. Zalal has fought 3 times in 2020 and has found his hand raised in all 3 of them. He has used his athleticism and fight IQ to land almost anything he wanted and take those wins. On paper it looks like a striker vs grappler but both of them have a good rounded off game. This fight should be a brawl!!! I think Zalals style and speed will be too much so long as he can defend those take downs. Im taking Zalal MoneyLine at -150

Thats all I have for you today, Im staying away from the main event just due to its volatile nature, could go either way even tho im rooting for Moraes. Enjoy tonights fights and most importantly, dont bet anything you cannot afford to lose.
