OF Rajai Davis CLE

Cleveland has a crowded situation in the outfield. Davis seems to be able to find playing time everywhere he goes. If you are lacking in the speed department he is a great find as come season ends he usually approaches the 30 stolen base mark. As of right now Bradley Zimmer, Michael Brantley, Brandon Guyer, Lonnie Chissenhall, Tyler Naquin and just recently Melky Cabrera are all viable options for the Tribe.

1B Mitch Moreland BOS

Moreland has become a steady source of offense, this is the type of player that just gets things done. If you look at his plate appearances over the last three years dating back three years, he has eclipsed the 500 level every time. It’s not out of the possibility that this could be Moreland’s breakout year. The platoon with Hanley Ramirez is working really well and the RedSox’s offense is clicking on all cylinders.

OF/2B Adam Frazier PIT

In only his third pro season we are finding out that Frazier is going to be a player with great contact skills. A .275 average all together in 223 games is nothing to sniff at. The more playing time Frazier gets the better he will become.

OF Travis Jankowski SD

The former first rounder has been playing very well of late and is getting regular playing time hitting at the top of the Padres order. With Jose Pirela‘s versatility(outfield/ second base) it allows Frenchy Cordero and Manuel Margot to get regular playing time alongside Jankowski who is currently manning right field.

SP Jaime Barria LAA

Barria is getting the opportunity to round out the rotation in Anaheim. He is someone to monitor but at the rate he is on currently, the Angels are going to want to keep him up with the big club.

SP Fernando Romero MIN

The first three games of Romero’s career in the bigs have gone very well. His best performance was against the St.Louis Cardinals where he fanned 9 in 6 innings while only giving up 3 hits.

SP Alex Reyes STL

This is a matter of stashing  on your roster before anyone else, just preach patience because he is only set to be re-activated off the 60 day dl on May 28. There is no denying the incredible upside Reyes posses, right now the Cards are focused on getting him healthy enough to take on a starting role.

P Bruce Rendon CWS

The save situation for the White Sox has been up for grabs and Rendon may be settling into that role. The Sox are a team that will most likely struggle this season but if you are really desperate for saves depending who is available in your leagues, Rendon will provide some help.

That does it for this weeks waiver wire. Good players could be out there for you to scoop up, make sure to check your leagues. Check back every week as we dive into more players that are worth adding.
