Strengths
- Rarely goes down upon the first contact because of his strong upper and lower body frame
- Hits the whole strong once he makes his decision where to go
- Perfect short yardage/goalline type of player
- Very physical open field runner and can shed tacklers
Weaknesses
- Doesn’t have high end breakaway speed
- Doesn’t move East-West as well as he does going North-South
- Needs to improve as a pass blocker
- Needs to become a better route runner

Bottom Line
In the second game of his senior year in high school, Rhamondre Stevenson broke his foot which led him to not go straight to a Division 1 school. Before attending the University of Oklahoma, Stevenson played at Cerritos College in California. Stevenson has had a small sample size in Oklahoma, playing in only 19 games.
After serving a six-game suspension, he ran for 665 yards and 7 TD in his senior season. Stevenson’s size allows him to be a good red zone/ goalline runningback. Watching his film, the most impressive thing to me was what he did once he could get to the second level of the defense. If a linebacker does not tackle him, watch out because he is stronger than most defensive backs. Stevenson uses his feet and body well, which allows him to get yardage after contact.
Steenson needs to work on his pass blocking and route running. His side-to-side movement is not the greatest, which is one reason I do not believe he will be a three-down back in the NFL. On the right team, his role will be short-yardage and red-zone back with the ability to sub the main running back when needed.
