2021 Dynasty Prospect: Terrace Marshall – LSU

Strengths

  • Huge WR who uses his frame well
  • Can go up and get the ball in the air downfield
  • Able to extend and still display necessary foot control on the sideline
  • Flashed deceptive run after the catch skills

Weaknesses

  • Several drops in 2020 that appeared to be concentration issues
  • Despite his size, downfield blocking leaves improvement
  • Not a twitchy athlete, uses his size instead

NFL Player Comparison | Tim Patrick

2020 Dynasty Rookie Draft Projection | Late 1st/Early 2nd

Bottom Line

He was the third WR on LSU’s 2019 National Champion team and blended in well with a corp that featured Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase.  The effort level was lower in 2020, especially when he knew he was not involved in the play and lacked focus resulting in some bad drops, ultimately he ended up opting out early.  Size and hands to play in the league.  Was able to get downfield and make plays despite not possessing top-end speed. Lined up all over the formation and showed the ability to win both inside and outside.  A good prospect, though some may get aggressive with Tee Higgins comparisons, he is not that level of athlete.
