4 Ways to Enjoy This Year’s NBA Bubble Playoffs

The NBA Playoffs are finally underway this year and will certainly be quite unlike any end to the season that has ever been seen before. 22 teams traveled to Disney World to close out the regular season in the NBA Bubble – a unique and highly entertaining isolation zone that has created all kinds of dramatic stories over the last few weeks – and now 16 teams remain to fight it out for this year’s title. Watching the action is quite different from normal due to there being no real crowd and the pandemic forcing people to stay at home to watch as opposed to with friends or at the local bar, so what are the best ways to enjoy this year’s playoffs?

1. Follow the Players on Social Media

Following NBA players on social media is always entertaining as they can be highly outspoken, but the drama created by the NBA Bubble has made it particularly enjoyable this year. With teams all being forced to spend time away from family and in a vacant theme park, inevitably, there have been a lot of amusing storylines to emerge, and it is clear that tensions are high in some parts.

2. Watch with Friends Over Video Call

The NBA Playoffs is usually a great time to meet up with a group of friends at a local bar or watch the games over at somebody’s house, but of course, this year is different, and you will want to protect your own health as well as the health of others. A good alternative is to watch the games together over a video call, which will help to feel as if you are in the same room but allows you both to stay at home safely. As proximity is not an issue, you could even do this with people that you do not usually get to see and watch games with multiple people.

3. Sports Betting

Playoff games are usually engaging enough, but if you want to make a game more exciting or there is one which you are watching but not too interested in, then online betting in Colorado will certainly add some excitement. There are all kinds of different things that you can bet on, and it is easy enough to do this on your phone, so you can place bets while watching the game on TV.

4. Follow the Games on Social Media Platforms

Another way to bring a social aspect to watching the Playoffs this year while sitting at home is to follow the games on social media and communities like Reddit. This can be great fun and allows you to participate in debates, learn more about the action and, of course, enjoy some hilarious memes as the games unfold.

There is something special about the NBA Playoffs this year in the Bubble, and it is certainly creating some great storylines, but watching the games is not quite the same, so these are a few ways in which you can enjoy the Playoffs this year.
