A Few of the Most Overvalued/Undervalued Fantasy Assets for Week 13

How are we already in Week 13? I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving and Week 12. Those with Tyreek Hill, Will Fuller, and Derrick Henry on their rosters, I’m sure are happy. We also saw Denver with no QB and a Wednesday afternoon edition of SNF. Needless to say, this football season has been crazy, but hold strong fantasy playoffs are about to begin and it’s going to a bumpy ride.

Overvalued

RB Miles Sanders (PHI)

We keep waiting for his breakout. We keep seeing him on “Must Start” lists week in and week out, and still being ranked in the top 10 and top 15. Eventually, one with any football knowledge would think that Coach Doug Pederson would realize what a player he has in Sanders and feed him the ball, but it never seems to pan out. Week 12 should have been a huge game for Sanders with a prime matchup with the Seahawks defense that hasn’t ranked in the Top 10 defenses since week 8. Yet again here we are wishing for something that might not ever happen, at least this season. In week 12, Sanders had 8 touches for 22 lowly little yards. Unacceptable! Wentz is playing subpar, which should open the door for Sanders, but it just isn’t. I would like to say that Week 13 promises hope against a Packer defense that allows runners room, but I don’t see it and have all but given up on Sanders and other Eagles players especially to carry me through a playoff.

Undervalued

QB Kirk Cousins (MIN)

Hear me out yall!! In Week 12, Cousins came from behind completing 34 or 45 passes for 307 yards and no interceptions to beat the Panthers. All that and no Adam Thielen. In .5ppr leagues, Cousins posted 26.18 points and since Week 9 has only missed 20 points once and even that was 17.58 versus Chicago’s defense. I feel like in the time of Covid uncertainty, it is smart to carry two QBs into the playoffs just in case. My guess is the wavier wire is thin, and Cousins is the perfect addition. The Vikings are set to play Jacksonville Week 13, and the Jags have a very porous defense, and Thielen is expected back. After Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Chicago are slated. Cousins has two outstanding WRs to sling the pigskin too, and the Vikings always seem to be a 2nd half of the season type of team. SKOL with Cousins!

WR DeVante Parker (MIA)

Every week I see articles, Twitter posts, start em, sit em lists on every other WR in the league it seems but Parker. When Tua took over, Parker’s value went down some as Tua just doesn’t throw and connect with his WRs as Fitzpatrick had been doing. My gut feeling is that if Fitzpatrick is back under center, then fire up Parker as a Top 10 WR for Week 13 against the Bengals. In Week 13, Parker had 119 yards and the Bengals allow 30+ fantasy points per game to WRS. If Tua is back, I would like to hope that Coach Flores sees that his start #1WR needs to be fed the ball over and over again. I like Parker’s schedule going forward through the playoffs as well with the Bengals, Kansas City, and New England. I hope for Parker’s sake Tua is out one more week to ensure that we see another Fitzmagic to Parker Sunday Funday!
