Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles

Tom Brady is ageless as ever leading his Bucs to a 4-1 start. Tom Brady leads the league in passing yards with 1767, a roughly 150 passing yards lead over Derek Carr. Brady also has a two-passing touchdown lead with 15. His name has eluded most MVP talks but if he keeps this up. Tom Brady could get an MVP after his 44th birthday. He is listed as questionable along with Gronk an Godwin.

The best way to describe the Eagles (2-3) is average. They can make plays which is why they squeaked out a win late against the Carolina defense. You gotta respect Hurts though, he has played with heart despite minimal weapons. He has tossed for 1365 yards, 7 TD, and 3 INTs. He is rushing about 51.2 YPC with 3 rushing TD.

Tampa Bay is electric on both sides of the ball and all of the burden to play is on the Eagles in prime time. The Eagles have yet to win at home with a 0-2 record. This puts even more pressure on the Eagles to perform. The Eagles key to success is through the passing game as the Bucs defense rank last 32nd is passing yards allowed. Hurts will need to find his rookie Smith who has 314 yards on 25 receptions with 1 TD. Not bad for a rookie but we need to see him show out tonight if they want to win.

The Bucs are the -7.0 favorite to cover the spread. No doubt the Bucs win but we have seen crazier things happen. The Eagles are one of those teams where you never know what you’re going to get. Which is why I’m buying down to -5.5 and sending it. Safe is sometimes best. Feel free to parley the Bucs ML as well.
