Does anyone know the definition of insanity? Read from a dictionary it reads, the state of being mentally ill; madness. If we dig a little deeper the secondary definition states, extreme foolishness or irrationality. Hmmmm ring any bells? By definition I’ve been insane for years! No I’m not clinically insane locked up in a padded room wearing a straight jacket. I do however, tend to act with extreme foolishness with a touch of irrationality. My definition of insanity goes like this, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well if that isn’t the truth! Lets apply this sentence to the life of a DFS player! Each week we read the same articles, visit the same websites and text the same people. Here’s my lineup guys! Thoughts? I just rolled my eyes so hard they fell into the back of my head!
If you haven’t put two and two together yet let me spell it out for you. We’re all insane. All DFS players are nuts! Especially you, right now for reading this! I know your next thought. Well aren’t you, Chris Robin, part of the problem then? Funny you should ask cause I was just about to explain myself! If Bottom of the Barrel is part of your research memorandum each week then did I just contradict myself? The same ole same ole? Reading the same piece of boring trash each week expecting different results? The answer is quite simple! No! No way! In an odd yet humble way I believe B&B is unique from most DFS related articles.
This all or nothing mind set is what drives us. Each week we start anew trying to hit it big. Along the way we experience a roller coaster of emotions and feelings. That’s the entire draw to DFS right? The excitement? The day dreaming? Being a part of something? Well I thank you for being apart of this article! They say absence makes the heart grow fonder! Week 6 is here, I’m just fashionably late to the party!

Using him most weeks is insanity BUT not this week! TB is low low in terms of defense vs. the pass!
Josh McCown NYJ v NE (FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,200)
This has everything to do with the Patriot defense, they stink!
RB is a mixed bag this week. I thought about following suit with the QB’s and listing some guys who are old hat but doing well, sort of ok. That wouldn’t be in the best interest of B&B and could ruin my integrity for the sake of a great article piece. (eye rolling emoji)
Duke Johnson Jr. CLE @ HOU (FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,100)
No JJ Watt? Guy is averaging upwards of 12pts a week, not to mention his game saw an up tick with Hogan at QB, not Hulk.
Matt Bredia SF @ WASH (FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,700)
He out touched Hyde last week, he’s the hotter hand I’m using him this week!
Adrian Peterson ARZ v TB (FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,400)
Look people the entire article is based on being insane, for the price I’ll take it. I’d rather have him on my roster when he’s AP again then caught wishing.

His status is up in the air for Sunday so tread lightly. Last time he was this cheap was week 1 remember what he did?!

If Kenny doesn’t play, swap TJ in last minute! He’s the Lions #3 WR in a game in NO where Stafford and Brees should do battle!
Michael Floyd MIN v GB (FD-$4,500)(DK-$3,500)
Ah ha! Did you forget about this guy? Maybe it’s best we forgot about him. Without Diggs this week Floyd may be the #2 guy! Lay off the tea and roster him!

A little too expensive for my taste BUT Baltimore is an extremely hard place to play. The Bears rookie QB will be a mess in this one.

The Saints pitched a shut out then had a bye week. I know this seems stupid especially vs. Detroit, but we did just celebrate a Friday the 13th this weekend.

Read the Browns bio on both sites. You’d have to be crazy to play the Browns DST this week v HOU. I agree, but with staying loyal to the theme and the article this is the type of play I live and die by! Copy and paste this passage all over social media please!
