Today features a very good slate of games. I personally have had a good week on DK including three consecutive winning days, including one day that was 5x. I like to do small contest under 1500 and even closer to 100 people, mainly single entries only. I will do some of the smaller buy in GPPs just so i can get exposure. I tend to never play in the short slates like today’s early or night one. Today’s main slate features 10 games (excluding the postponed sea/bal) with a ton of aces on the mound. I tend to play it safe and stay away from the aces when it comes to picking hitters. Lets dive in.

Taillon (NYY) 9,400 @ TOR
Strasburg (WAS) 8,400 @ STL
Picking from all the aces is a tuff task today, but these are the higher priced ones that stand out. During his last start he did not pitch deep into the game, which leads me to think he will be wanting to go deeper in this one. If he can keep the ball in the park i expect him to get ten plus Ks a win and pitch around 7 innings. For one thousand cheaper Strasburg is very intriguing however have to be mindful of the possibility of his opponents bats waking up. If he stays out of trouble I expect 7 plus innings, 8 Ks, and a chance for a win.

Woodruff (MIL) 7,500 v CHC
Castillo (CIN) 7,100 @ SF
Woodruff put up over 30 points in his most recent start against this same Cubs team. I like his chances to come close to similar results and even earn the win this time. For four hundred less Castillo gets his easiest start yet. I would expect even better results then his last start where he racked up over 26 points. I have made two preliminary lineups and Castillo is in both.

Gausman 6,800 (SF) @ CIN
This is the lowest i would go on pitching today with so many top tier options. Pitching deep in games against formidable opponents and producing results thus far. If he can keep another solid offense in check i expect 20 plus points.

Dodgers put up 11 runs against Senzatela’s Rockies in his first start. Whoever is starting at catcher, Muncy, Turner, Seager, McKinstry, Taylor are all solid options. In one of my lineups i have 5 of them.
