Pitchers

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) 9,500 @ OAK
Lucas Giolito (CWS) 9,300 v SEA
Value-tier |
Freddy Peralta (MIL) 7,600 @ CHC
Adbert Alzolay (CHC) 7,400 v MIL
Middle-tier |
Marcus Stroman (NYM) 8,600 @ PHI
- A ton of bottom feeder type pitchers on today’s slate. In GPPs you will likely have to take your shot with one of the value guys and hope it pays off. I am a fan of Alzolay however he has a risky matchup. Peralta could easily rack up enough strikeouts to pay off. In cash games and in my lineups I will be trying to fit Kershaw and Giolito. Both should get a win, have a decent amount of strikeouts, and possibly pitch late into the game.
Hitters
- Yermin Mercedes (CWS) 3,500 – Will likely be chalky, hard to pass on the good story at this cost.
- Kevin Pillar (NYM) 3,300 – Another salary saver and been hot at the plate.
- Francisco Lindor (NYM) 5,000 – Talked myself into the Pillar/Lindor stack.
- Manny Machado (SDP) 5,600 – High price but easy to fit in if your following this article.
- Jake Cronenworth (SDP) 3,600 – One of my personal favorite players and at this price, hard to go wrong.
- James McCann (NYM) 3,900 – Just a hunch, giving options if trying to fade the chalk.
Stacks
I will be looking to stack a few of the Rockies. Cron has been way underpriced all season and at 3,700 it continues today. Hampson at 3,200, and Owings at 3,300. Can put one in 2B spot and the other (or both) will serve as cheap OF.
Got to mention the LA Dodgers as a stack. Seager (5,800), Lux (4,200), Rios (4,000) Barnes (4,200). All should be highly considered.
