I play small single entries on a daily basis, here are Wednesday’s thoughts. Wednesday includes a early slate of six games and also a late slate of seven games.

Kevin Gausman (SF) $10,700 @ LAA
Shohei Ohtani (LAA) 8,600 vs SF
Erick Fedde (WAS) 8,300 @ PHI
Brandon Woodruff (MIL) 10,300 @ ARI
For the early slate. Brandon Woodruff and Kevin Gausman are absolutely dominate, would love to fit them both into a lineup. If needed would look at Shohei Ohtani and Erick Fedde. Ohtani is always fun to watch and a popular option. Fedde is averaging 25.3 points over his last three starts. I like the idea of a pitchers duel in LA, but might have to drop down to Fedde if I run into trouble with bats or late scratches. Woddruff has the fishy match up and although he has a 400 discount from Gausman it is still highly priced so I ranked him the least of my favorites.
James Kaprielian (OAK) 8,400 @ TEX
Trevor Bauer (LAD) 10,500 @ SD
Joe Musgrove (SD) 9,500 v LAD
Jose Urquidy (HOU) 8,100 @ BAL
For the late slate. I see no reason not to start Kaprielioan. If I can fit either of Bauer or Musgrove in that would be ideal. Lean Bauer if picking between the two. If needed to drop even lower i would look at Urquidy. Don’t love Urquidy’s match up as i typically don’t play pitchers facing Baltimore but he has been mostly effective.

I am a big fan of Story but he is so highly priced, almost impossible to play for me. However, Hampson, Daza, Tapia, Cron, Rodgers, are all costly effective. It is not Coors and the Rockies are not exactly on fire by any means. Cron, Tapia, and Daza in particular have been on absolute fire for basically the last ten games.
