The “main slate” for tonight, June 26th, consists of only four games. There is an early afternoon slate which is made up of ten games. Although there are only eight pitchers to choose from in the main slate, five of those eight pitchers average 15.0 FPTS/game on the season.
I will list a few afternoon pitchers in the “others I like” section, as well as a couple of hitting matchups that I prefer in the afternoon slate under my “stacks” section
Pitchers
Top-tier
Julio Urias(Dodgers) $9500 vs Cubs 9-3 record with a 3.99 ERA/1.07 WHIP. Averaging 19.2 FPTS/game on the season, Urias has recorded 95 strikeouts over 88 innings.
Alex Wood(Giants) $8500 vs A’s Although Wood is not overpowering(65 strikeouts over 66 innings), Wood has good peripherals(4.09 ERA/1.20 WHIP) and is averaging 16.0 FPTS/game.
Others I Like
Nathan Eovaldi(Red Sox) $7800 vs Yankees 7-4 record with a 3.90 ERA/1.27 WHIP.
Afternoon Slate
The afternoon slate is highlighted by Jacob DeGrom(Mets $11400). DeGrom, who is averaging 33.2 FPTS/game on the season, has an out of this world ERA of 0.50 and WHIP of 0.51. In addition to DeGrom’s stellar stats, there are six other pitchers who average 16 FPTS/game or more.
Those pitchers averaging north of 16 FPTS/game include: 1)Lance Lynn(White Sox $9600 vs Mariners); 2)Adam Wainwright(Cardinals $9100 vs Pirates); 3)Alex Cobb(Angels $8500 @ Rays); 4)Hyun Jin Ryu(Blue Jays $8200 vs Orioles); 5)Ian Anderson(Braves $7500 @ Reds); and 6)Kyle Gibson(Rangers $6500 vs Royals). It will almost be impossible to sit DeGrom. Anderson and Gibson will be hard to fade to offset DeGrom’s cost.

Stacks
Afternoon
The Blue Jays and White Sox are my top afternoon stacks. Both teams will be home standing as the Blue Jays host the Orioles(Keegan Akin) and the White Sox take on the Mariners(Logan Gilbert). While Gilbert has decent peripherals(4.50 ERA/1.12 WHIP), Akin’s stats(6.42 ERA/1.57 WHIP) have been far from acceptable.
Main
The Padres and Dodgers are my two favorite stacks for the main slate. Just like the Blue Jays and White Sox, the Dodgers and Padres will both be playing at home. The Dodgers will face the Cubs(Alec Mills), while the Padres take on the Diamondbacks(Merril Kelly). Mills(5.18 ERA/1,49) and Kelly(5.06 ERA/1.32 WHIP) have both proven to be very exploitable match ups.
