DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 1/28/2021

Guards

Top Play | Stephen Curry ($9,700)

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – MARCH 5: Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry (30) celebrates after scoring a three-point-shot during the third quarter of his teams game versus the Toronto Raptors at Chase Center in San Francisco on Thursday, March 5, 2020. (Randy Vazquez / Bay Area News Group)

Stephe Curry had a quiet 2nd game against The Timberwolves on Wednesday night. The matup-up against The Suns is not great, but if you look at Curry’s games logs after a loss he usual has a monster game. I think his ownership may be down tonight, we can get Curry on a short slate without crazy ownership in my opinion.

Mid-tier | Andrew Wiggins ($6,900)

Being an avid Timberwolves fan it hurts me to say it, but Andrew Wiggins has been pretty solid this season. He has been super consistent all season and has even started to play some defense. I think this slate lacks guards in my opinion and I think that Wiggins can give you a solid score. Keep an eye on The Warriors starting line up/news, they are coming off a back to back.

Value | Anfernee Simons ($4,200)

Anfernee Simons brings some solid value to this slate at just $4,200. Look the guy is playing minutes at a cheap price tag and CJ McCollum has already been ruled out again.

Fade | John Wall ($7,400)

John Wall is one of my favorite players in the NBA, but I cant play him until his minutes get into the 30s. Right now the minutes are not there to justify playing him at this price tag.

Others I Like

Damian Lillard ($10,600)

Top Play | Anthony Davis ($8,900)

Anthony Davis at $8,900 is an absolute steal and is probably the best play on the slate. The problem is The Lakers are playing a back to back, and at the time of this article we don’t know who will play. If Anthony Davis plays he’s my favorite stud.

Mid-tier | Carmelo Anthony ($5,600)

Carmelo Anthony has aged like fine wine! The dude just puts the ball in the basket and has his whole career. Carmelo gets a nice usage bump and a nice minutes bump with both CJ McCollum and Robert Covington out. Carmelo is another top play for me and is clearly my favorite Trailblazer on the slate.

Value | Marcus Morris Sr. ($5,000)

I keep asking myself what to do with The Clippers. Both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are out due to Covid-19 protocols. Draftkings did a great job at pricing these guys up, so well I’m not really playing any of them beside Marcus Morris Sr.

Fade | Jerami Grant ($8,400), Draymond Green ($5,600)

Jeramri Grant at least has some upside, but I think he is very over priced. He could has a great game and still only get you 40 DK points, and at this price tag I don’t see a reason to roster him. Grant also has blowout concerns assuming The Lakers play at least one of either Lebron James or Anthony Davis.

Draymond Green is just a player people get sucked into. He cant shoot or score and isn’t much of a part of The Warriors offense.

Others I Like

Jay Crowder ($5,500)

Lebron James ($10,400)

Centers

Top Play | Bam Adebayo ($9,200)

Bam Adebayo is a player that I won’t be rostering on Thursday, but if you break it down Miami just doesn’t have any other talent that healthy right now. If you want to be contrarian you can play Bam who shoud be handed ever minute possible. I don’t think there is much blow out concern due to the Clippers being without George and Leonard.

Mid-tier | Deandre Ayton ($7,800)

Deandre Ayton isn’t having the greatest season, but that will happen when The Suns add more talent. One thing I love about Ayton is hes on the floor a ton, he’s locked into 35 minutes regularly. James Wiseman has started to slowly excel, but he still finds himself in foul trouble a lot.

Value | Ivica Zubac ($5,300)

The Clippers what to do with The Clippers…. I think you can go to Ivica Zubac if you need too. Zubac every once in awhile stays on the floor a little longer and can stumble into a 40 point DK night, more of a tournament play. If Zubac gets the minutes I think he could pay off this price. I don’t imagine he’ll have much ownership.

Fade | Enes Kanter ($7,100)

Enes Kanter can go off and get you 50 DK points, but he can also being Enes Kanter again and get you 25. Kanter isn’t playing a ton of minutes either.
