DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 2/25/19
Believe it or not, March is right around the corner and the NBA playoff picture is gradually taking shape. This effects DFS immensely, as it becomes more and more imperative to check who is sitting out, who is on a minute restriction, and what excellent value players are popping up. At times I slump badly during this time of the year for that very reason, and am trying to be more focused on the aforementioned. Anyway, let’s make some picks…

Top Plays
Steph Curry (Golden State) $9,300 @ Charlotte
Will the last superstar left standing please turn off the lights. With the exception of LeBron versus Memphis which is a so-so matchup anyway, the following superstars have injury questions: KAT, James Harden, Giannis. While some of those guys will play and are great picks if the do play, I like Steph here. Charlotte is at home and should be able to hang with Golden State, and I can envision a Steph-Kemba Walker dual. Did I mention Charlotte represents a homecoming for Steph? You already probably knew that, he’s a great pick here.
Others to consider:
Damian Lillard $9,200 @ Cleveland, Chris Paul $8,300 versus Atlanta (especially if no Harden), Ben Simmons $8,000 @ New Orleans (really anyone on the 76ers against New Orleans)

Tyler Johnson (Phoenix) $4,800 @ Miami
Does Tyler Johnson care about revenge? I’m not really sure. I do know that many people think he looks like Dwight Scrhute’s cousin from the TV Show The Office. While consistency is an issue for Tyler, the Suns are giving him minutes and worst case here I see a game similar to the one he had against Cleveland when he shot 1-7 but still managed 30 fantasy points. Hopefully he will do better than that, but I think that’s his floor until T.J. Warren returns from injury, or the Suns decide De’Anthony Melton is their point guard of the week.

Blake Griffin (Detroit) $9,100 vs. Indiana
Blake has done been me wrong two games in a row and I am trying to figure out why. Maybe he is mad that Kendall has moved on to Ben Simmons? Perhaps the terrible Detroit weather is finally doing him in? Or he is realizing he is wasting a great season with the Pistons? I vote for the later, though I love the Kendall Jenner hypothesis. Realistically, Blake is due for a big game, but Indiana’s defensive is tough up front and he put up a paltry 32.3 fantasy points against the Pacers earlier in the year. This is one of those good player, bad price deals. Your $9,100 can be better spent elsewhere.
