DFS NBA DraftKings Lineup Advice 3/17/19

Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you! We have a split slate on this fine Sunday, but I will only be covering the afternoon games. It’s not that I don’t like the morning games or that I won’t play, I just find them much harder to project as NBA Players are used to playing at night and the day games always seem to turn out much different than expected. Anyway, on to the picks.

Nikola Vucevic (Orlando) $9,200 vs. Atlanta

If you have the opportunity to pick on the Atlanta Hawks you must take it. Both James Harden and KAT (KAT especially) are solid picks here but I will go with Vucevic. While he has only put up 48.8 fantasy points per game this season against the Hawks, the Magic are making a playoff push and I am expect a monster game from Vucevic against Dedmon, Len, etc.

Others to consider:

James Harden $11,500 versus Minnesota, Karl-Anthony Towns $10,000 @ Houston, Trae Young $7,400 @ Orlando

Terrence Ross (Orlando) $5,600 vs. Atlanta

Sticking with a similar theme, I love me some Terrence Ross against the Hawks. He’s averaging 33.6 fantasy points per game against them this season and is in a great spot here. The time share with Fournier can be concerning, but I think both guys will get their shots and minutes in this one.

Others to consider:

Andrew Wiggins $5,500 @ Houston (too cheap), Jarrett Allen $5,300 @ L.A. Clippers, Caris Levert $4,800 @ L.A. Clippers (risky, but could win you a slate)

Zach Lavine (Chicago) $8,000 @ Sacramento

Zach Lavine is one of those guys that I am not quite sure about. Part of me sees him as a dynamic high flier who is just reaching his potential, while the other part of me thinks his numbers are simple a product of usage and a poor Bulls team. Nonetheless this is not a great spot for him, and while Sacramento’s pace is decent, Lavine only put up 29 against them earlier this year. He does not appear to be in a great spot here.
