Guards

Top Play |Russell Westbrook $10,900 CHA @ WAS

Russ is coming off an outstanding performance last night against the Pacers where he put up a whopping 94 fantasy points! Bradley Beal (hip) didn’t play and he’s questionable for tonights game as well. If Beal does sit again look for Russ to continue to take complete control of the Wizard’s offense and go for his third consecutive triple-double. On a four game slate Westbrook will be in most lineups and for good reason, you can take your chances fading him in large field GPP’s but you may want to just plug him in and try to get different elsewhere.

Mid-tier |Terry Rozier $7,700 CHA @ WAS

With the unfortunate season ending injury to future super-star point guard LaMelo Ball (fractured right wrist) Rozier becomes the go to scorer for the Hornets offense. He’s become a fantasy point per minute player this year and is having the best season of his NBA career so far, averaging career highs in points, steals, field-goal percentage and three-point shooting percentage. He gets a great matchup to continue his career season going up against a Wizards team who are 1st in pace and 30th in points allowed per game not to mention he’s carrying a fairly decent price tag, I like Rozier a lot on this slate.

Value | Terance Mann ORL @ LAC $4,700

On first look there isn’t much value, especially on a small four game slate so be sure you’re paying attention to start/sit news for better options. For now I think Mann is going to be the best lower end option at guard. With Patrick Beverley (knee) still sitting out and Lou Williams being traded it has opened up more playing time for Terance Mann. He just logged 34 minutes last night against the Bucks putting up 32.5 DKFP, 14 real points, 6 REB and 6 AST. Granted Paul George (right foot soreness) did sit the game out which opened up more opportunity, the Clippers will still make room for Mann in their rotation either way.

Fade | Michael Carter-Williams ORL @ LAC $5,800

It’s hard to truly fade anyone on such a small slate but if there’s anyone that I will have none of tomorrow it would be MCW. $5,800 is entirely to expensive for such little return on investment. He’s only averaging 20.7 FPPG and 0.8 FPPM which just isn’t enough production for $5,800. I can find better places to spend my salary even with limited options on a small slate.

Others I Like

  1. Chris Paul $8,000 ATL @ PHO
  2. Ben Simmons $8,700 PHI @ DEN
  3. Devonte’ Graham $6,100 CHA @ WAS

Forwards

Top Play |Kawhi Leonard $8,800 ORL @ LAC

This will be a back to back for Kawhi and we know he has the tendency to sit out on the back end so roster him with a contingency plan. If Paul George (right foot soreness) does sit out again I like this play even more due to the obvious usage bump and facilitator role Leonard takes on. He will be taking on a Orlando Magic team who just traded away two of their best players in Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic so this should be a cake walk for Leonard and company.

Mid-tier |Rui Hachimura $6,00 CHA @ WAS

Rui is usually a fade for me but he’s been playing better as of late. In last nights game he took full advantage of the extra touches he received with Bradley Beal (hip) out of the lineup putting up 39 DKFP. Obviously whether or not Beal plays in this one will be key news to watch and have an effect on how much exposure I have to Hachimura but I like the confidence he’s been playing with as of late and at just $6,000 I think there’s some value to in that price tag on such a small slate.

Value | Luke Kennard $3,400 ORL @ LAC

This is only a decent value play if Paul George (right foot soreness) sits out again but on first look there isn’t really any options as far as value goes. Kennard got the starting nod last night in George’s absence and played well, going for 21 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assist and 31.8 DKFP. Like I said this is only a play if George sits again so be sure to stay tuned in on all news until lock for more value to open up.

Fade | Otto Porter Jr. $5,400 ORL @ LAC

Until Porter Jr. finds his role and gets acclimated to his new team I will be fading him. He did get 25 minutes in his debut for the Magic but didn’t have much of an impact. $5,400 is to much to pay for such little production even on a 4 game slate. I’ll take my chance elsewhere and wait for cheaper value to open up.

Others I Like

  1. Tobias Harris $8,500 PHI @ DEN
  2. Dwayne Bacon $5,700 ORL @ LAC

Centers

Top Play |Nikola Jokic $10,500 PHI @ DEN

If there’s a DFS slate and Jokic is on it then I’m probably going to recommend him. The Joker is playing out of his mind this season averaging 56.4 FPPG and 1.6 FPPM. He get’s a Philadelphia 76er’s team who is without Joel Embiid (knee) so he should be able to put up big numbers in this one again. Jokic is a walking triple-double and going to be my top pay up option on tonights slate.

Mid-tier |Deandre Ayton $6,400 ATL @ PHO

I like the price tag on Ayton and he’s been playing well here late in March. He’s put upon over 30 DKFP in 7 of his last 9 games and even on the nights he isn’t scoring much he’s making up for it in rebounds. Ayton usually isn’t a popular option so on a smaller slate he could be a lower owned option with some decent upside.

Value | None at this time.

Fade | Dwight Howard $5,800 PHI @ DEN

Even with Embiid (knee) out Howard isn’t seeing a ton of minutes, over the last three games he’s only logged a total of 39 minutes and he doesn’t score much with the ones he does get. He’s priced way to high for my liking, I won’t be paying for Dwight Howard tomorrow at almost 6k with the limited production he offers.

Others I Like

  1. Clint Capela $7,400 ATL @ PHO
  2. PJ Washington $6,800 CHA @ WAS
