DFS NBA FanDuel Lineup Builder Spreadsheet 10/25/17

Ugh, Anthony Davis…. That’s all I can say. Of course, Aaron Gordon was graded as the No. 3 power forward and I had zero exposure to him and 100 percent exposure to Anthony Davis.

Thankfully he was so highly owned. I still cashed in my cash games and minimum cashed in GPPs. I’ll be running the post-optimization of the spreadsheet today to see how it did overall, but the eye test tells me it did pretty good overall. Evan Fournier and Lebron James were graded as the No. 1 and No. 2 SF, and that worked out pretty good.  D’Angelo Russell was the No. 2 overall PG graded (Damian Lillard was No. 1, but he s currently playing as I write this).

We have a typical large NBA slate for Wednesday with 10 games on the docket. The spreadsheet should be ready around mid-afternoon on Wednesday, so be sure to come back to check it out. As always, I’d love to hear some success stories from you on how the sheet is working for you. Tweet me @GeoffLambert77.

NBA FanDuel Spreadsheet 10/25/17

No time for a breakdown today, but there is one flaw to the spreadsheet that I’m working to fix. Because the sheet uses “last 5 games” averages, when a player has been ruled out, like Jimmy Butler, for example, his backup will get a low grade because he hasn’t played enough games to give him an accurate grade. I’m working on a way to use “projected points” instead of last five games in cases like this. I already have an idea on how to fix this, but I didn’t have time to incorporate it into this sheet. I will hope to have it for the next spreadsheet. Good Luck!
