No, you are not reading this wrong. It’s WNBA time!!! While I do not follow the sport a ton in general, it is still fun to play on DraftKings and is winnable if you incorporate similar strategies as you would in the NBA. Let’s make some picks.

Candice Dupree (Indiana) $10,400 @ New York
I’ll admit I am flying a little bit blind here as the odds for the games are not out yet, and am going off what I remember from last year. Candice Dupree is a solid player and while she only put up 26.7 fantasy points per game against the Liberty last season, she averaged nearly 44 fantasy points on average, and is a good anchor for your lineup. She also went to high school about 10 minutes away from where I lived in Tampa, Florida and where my daughter was born so extra bonus points for that.

Allisha Gray (Dallas) $6,600 @ Atlanta
With Skyler Diggins-Smith out, someone is going to have to step up in the Dallas backcourt. Allisha Gray should get plenty of minutes and be a high usage player for the Wings this season. I think she is too cheap at $6,600.

Teaira McCowan (Indiana) $8,700 vs. New York
I think Teaira McCowan is going to be a great WNBA player. From what I have read she has all the skills. That being said its her first game and she is going against the battle tested Tina Charles. I am taking a wait and see approach to see how she progresses through the year.
