Each week I am going to outline my plan geared toward Drafters.com‘s weekly best-ball contest. This information can also be used at other sites that run similar contests but for me personally, I play at Drafters.com. This information could be used in the H2H contests, but it is mainly referring to GPPs and six-person drafts. H2H takes some different strategies, such as really paying attention to the slots that your opponent fills up first.

This week, the site is offering the normal GPPs including the “shark”, “whale”, and “splash”. Below I will list my targets and fades. I can not stress this enough, BE STRATEGIC! I am typically waiting until the last round 0to draft whichever QB falls or whichever one matches my receiving group. For instance, if I have drafted Gronk or Bucs receivers I will be targeting Brady for sure. I refuse to put Allen on my fade list but he is not a target of mine this week. Hill in the last round is my preferred way to go.

Any of the top three options are good bets this week. If choosing, give me Najee in the second round over the other two in the first. Mitchell and Penny are two of my favorite options this week. My ideal draft would be to fade early backs and target receivers.

Adams and Kupp are two of my favorite targets this week, will have to be lucky to get them both. The guys on my fade list come with too much risk this week and I’m happy to avoid them at all costs. A Brady, Gronk, and a receiver stack is always a good bet.

A late-round Gronk is a super option and my preferred way to go. I recommend prioritising these two players. Kittle normally goes way too early for me to think about.
