Welcome back to another installment of the DraftKings Plays of the Day!
Hopefully you listened to my sleeper pick Zach Langer and his 3 TD last week. I won’t take too much credit for recommending Doctson and Coleman though, even though they had monster games.
Week 6 has some exciting match-ups kicking off at 12pm. Let’s get down to business!
Quarterback
1st tier – P. Mahomes II – Texas Tech – $8400
There are QB’s better than him this week, but at this value I think it opens up more space in the WR position. Also, Tech is going to be wanting to get a big win this week after two crushing defeats. I think 300 yards and 3 – 4 TD’s is a lock for the week.
2nd tier — Brent Stockstill – Mid Tenn St – $7200
Who? Yup that is why you listen to Johnny G. Look he is averaging 300 yards a game and has 15 TD to 2 Int’s. They are playing Western Kentucky this week whose defense just lets people score so Doughty can throw for 800 yards a game (exaggeration). Save your money for the quality WR. They are worth one point per catch in DK!
Running Back
1st tier — Ezekiel Elliot – Ohio State – $8500
The offense is starting to click and I think at 8500 he is a good play. Fournette at 9900 is so expensive and you would think a team would stack the box and try to keep him under 200 yards at least. Also, the Buckeyes host a MD team that is just not good against the run.
2nd tier –Justin Jackson – Northwestern – $6000
No, I am not a Big Ten fan, but at $6000 he makes a good 2nd back. Also he is getting over 20 – 25 runs a game and is averaging 127 per game. I’ll take that each week.
Wide Receiver
1st tier — Corey Coleman – Baylor – $7900

He is averaging over 140 yards a game and has 11 TD’s in four games. What else do I need to say?  Oh, they are playing Kansas!
2nd tier — Pharoh Cooper – South Carolina – $6200
He kind of has flown under the radar, but he did have 9 catches last game. If they want a chance to beat LSU, he will need to be involved early and often.
Sleepers
Justin Stockton – Texas Tech RB – $3700
He is not the starter but listen, the game could get out of hand and he gets 10 carries that way or he continues to catch passes out of the backfield. He is averaging 35 yards a game through the air! Lots of hidden value here.
Johnny Jackson – Arizona WR – $3200
He caught 5 passes for over 80 yards and a TD for a struggling AZ team. A sneaky play that could pay off big.
