Welcome to another installment of CFB DraftKings Plays of the Day!
Hopefully you followed a few of our picks from last week (W. Smallwood, S. Russell) and were able to win a few of your fantasy college football contests for the day. With many good players in the early game contest this week you will have some tough choices to make.
I like games with high over/under totals, so look at Texas vs TCU, Texas Tech vs Baylor, and Houston vs Tulsa. Also, the WVU vs Oklahoma game could be high scoring as well. WVU is not giving up any points but they have not played anybody yet either.

DraftKings DFS College Football Week 5 Plays of the Day
Quarterback
1st tier – Trevone Boykin – TCU – $9200
He can do it through the air and his feet are almost as good. Texas is giving up over 35 points a game and cannot stop anyone, let alone TCU. I would be shocked if he does not score 30 fantasy points.
2nd tier- Skyler Howard – West Virginia – $6500
Still no love for the WVU offense? We will find out this week how good they really are. My guess is Oklahoma’s defense is not that great, as evidenced by the Tennessee game. At $6500 you are getting a good value with high upside.
Running Back
1st tier- Nick Chubb – Georgia – $8600
Mr. Walker’s records are in danger. Georgia does not even have a good passing game and teams cannot stop Chubb. Alabama may do better than most, but I still think 100 yds and 2 TD are likely.
2nd tier – Keaun Kinnner – Kansas – $4900
Kansas is not good, but neither is Iowa St. With 5 TD’s on the year, he is the only offense Kansas really has.

Wide Receiver
1st tier- Corey Coleman – Baylor – $7900
The over under on Baylor vs Texas Tech is 85. Eighty-Five! Need to see it again? This guy will get his.
Josh Doctson – TCU – $7600
In another high scoring affair, Texas will not have much luck stopping Doctson either. Combo him with Boykin for max points this week. You will pay for it in salary though.
2nd tier- Shelton Gibson – West Virginia – $4600
Much like Howard at QB, WVU is not getting the respect. At $4600 he provides a huge upside with little risk, as he is arguably the #1 receiver.
Sleepers
RB – Zack Langer – Tulsa – $6100
Tulsa is known for throwing the ball, but Langer has games with 24, 33, and 31 carries this year? Nick Chubb carries without the price. Against an average Houston team, book him!
WR – Brandon Reilly – Nebraska – $3700
He has not had a game this year below 70 yards! At $3700 he is a no brainer. Even if he does not score much!
