Before digging into Week 17’s quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers, let’s see how Week 16’s streamers did (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR).
Quarterback: Brock Purdy-16.96 points
Tight End: Jordan Akins-5.4 points
Team Defense: Los Angeles Chargers-20 points
For championship week in a lot of fantasy football leagues, here are your quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for Week 17.
Quarterback: Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas Raiders
Purdy was efficent (15-for-22) again, for over 200 yards (again, 234) and two touchdowns (again in Week 16 against the Washington Commanders. He has two passing touchdowns in all four games he has played, with over 200 yards three times and basically at least 16.5 fantasy points (16.48, Yahoo! scoring) in all three of his starts.
In Week 17 Purdy gets a nice matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season (Yahoo! scoring). They have allowed less than 250 passing yards in three straight games, but those quarterbacks were Baker Mayfield, Mac Jones and Kenny Pickett.
As long as the 49ers are operating like they want to, Purdy won’t throw the ball a bunch. But the pieces and offensive design around him drives his floor. With a favorable matchup as well, the rookie out of Iowa State is my quarterback streamer again in Week 17.

Tight End: Tyler Conklin, New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks
Despite Zach Wilson‘s bench-worthy ineptitude in Week 6, Conklin had four catches for 34 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mike White (ribs) has been cleared to play, and he’ll be back under center for the Jets in Week 17.
In White’s last two starts, Week 13 and Week 14, Conklin had a total of 15 targets. In the first of White’s three starts this season (Week 12), Conklin had 50 yards.

Week 17 brings a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who have allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends this season (14.33 points per game, Yahoo! scoring-0.5-point PPR). Some big games allowed have skewed that some (T.J. Hockenson-Week 4, George Kittle-Week 15, Travis Kelce-Week 16), but some other far less-notable tight ends had had useful fantasy days against Seattle this year.
Conklin has a low weekly floor that shouldn’t be ignored, and he burned us as tight end streamer recently. But the matchup here is appealing, and White being back to throw him the ball is a great development. With the prospect of 5-10 targets, solid catch/yardage totals in play and some chance at a touchdown, here’s your tight end streamer for Week 17 if you need.

Team Defense: New York Giants vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have become the target for a defense streamer, with 19 offensive points or less in five straight games and in six of their last seven. They have allowed at least three sacks in five straight games, and at this point it doesn’t matter who the quarterback is-Nick Foles or Sam Ehlinger now as they play out the string.
The Giants have at least three sacks in four straight games (16 total), with the highest blitz rate in the NFL for the season by a good margin (40.1 percent). The Colts are just not equipped to protect their passer adequately, and without Jonathan Taylor they didn’t seem inclined to run the ball a lot in Week 16 despite the game being close for a big chunk of it.
The Giants have been up and down as a fantasy defense all season. But Week 17 is a virtual lock to be an up week, and they are my top streamer for the week among a solid list of options.
