Before my Week 4 quarterback, tight end and team defense are unveiled, let’s do the weekly accountability session for Week 3 (Yahoo! scoring, 0.5-point PPR)
Quarterback: Matthew Stafford-12.14 points
Tight End: Greg Olsen-22.5 points
Team Defense: San Francisco 49ers-7 points
Two teams (the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers) are on a bye this week, and here are my quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for Week 4.
Quarterback: Daniel Jones, New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins
Jones was a revelation in his first NFL start, completing 23 of 36 passes for 336 yards and two touchdowns along with 28 rushing yards and two more scores against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A repeat of that kind of performance is unlikely, but the rookie out of Duke has some chance to do it in Week 4.
The Washington Redskins have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (26.84 per game; Yahoo! scoring) so far this season, including three touchdown passes to all three quarterbacks they’ve faced (Carson Wentz, Dak Prescott, Mitch Trubisky). With Saquon Barkley (ankle) out, Jones has a chance to push toward 40 attempts on Sunday.
Jones is obviously a top fantasy waiver wire add this week, so this may be the only week he’ll qualify as a streamer. Among some other good options, he stands as as the No. 1 quarterback to stream in a cake Week 4 matchup.

Tight End: Will Dissly at Arizona Cardinals
After catching two touchdowns in Week 2, among his five catches for 50 yards, Dissly had six receptions for 62 yards (on seven targets) and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. With that upward trend in targets, catches and yards, the Seahawks’ tight end gets the best matchup he can get in Week 4.
Through three weeks this season, the Arizona Cardinals have given up the most fantasy points to tight ends by a substantial margin regardless of scoring format. They allowed 100-yard games to T.J. Hockenson (six catches for 131 yards and a touchdown in Week 1) and Mark Andrews (eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown in Week 2), then Greg Olsen had six receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3. A No. 1 tight end has has no less than seven targets in a game against Arizona this season.

It’s going to be worth targeting the Cardinals with a tight end streamer until further notice. Dissly is next up, and thus he’s an easy choice this week.

Team Defense: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals (Monday night)
After getting undressed by the New England Patriots in Week 1, the Steelers’ defense has seven takeaways and five sacks over its last two games. In Week 3, new acquisition Minkah Fitzpatrick made an instant impact with an interception and a forced fumble in his first game with Pittsburgh as they forced five turnovers from the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cincinnati Bengals have scored 20 or less points in all three of their games this season, and they will still be without wide receiver A.J. Green in Week 4. A depleted offensive line has allowed Andy Dalton to be sacked 11 times total, and after two productive games Dalton threw two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Pittsburgh’s defense is not as good as Buffalo’s, but at home in division rivalry game they are lined up to take advantage of a good matchup.
The streaming defense options are a bit thin this week. So a Steelers’ unit that is on an upward trend stands as my top choice.
