As is custom, before I unveil my quarterback, tight end and team defense fantasy streamers for Week 5, let’s take a a look at Week 4’s results (Yahoo! scoring, four points per touchdown pass, 0.5-point PPR).

Here are my quarterback, tight end and team defense streamers for Week 5
Quarterback: Jacoby Brissett, Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday night)
Brissett threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns against the Oakland Raiders in Week 4, as he now has multiple passing touchdowns in all four games this season. His passing volume is on an upward trend, with 46 attempts against Oakland, and in Week 5 he’s in line to air it out plenty.
The Kansas City Chiefs have now edged into the bottom half of the league against quarterbacks (Yahoo! scoring), with at least 267 passing yards and over 21 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring) allowed to the position in three of four games this season. Two of the four quarterbacks they’ve faced (Derek Carr and Lamar Jackson) have thrown the ball at least 38 times against the Chiefs.
The Colts’ defense is sure to struggle keeping the Chiefs’ offense at bay on the road. In an effort to keep pace Brissett is a lock to top 40 pass attempts again, with production (250-300 yards, multiple passing touchdowns) to naturally follow.

Tight End: Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Arizona Cardinals
Eifert had just two catches for 27 yards (on five targets) against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4, as he continues to trend down along with Andy Dalton. But he does have at least five targets in three of four games this season, and if there’s a week to dust off Eifert in a fantasy lineup Week 5 is the one.
The Arizona Cardinals are the worst in the league against opposing tight ends by a healthy margin. Two tight ends have topped 100 yards against them, as they’ve allowed at least 75 yards and at least one touchdown to the position in all four games this season.

In deploying Eifert as a streamer, you’re mostly hoping for a touchdown. But he should find plenty of room to roam against the Cardinals, and the state of Cincinnati’s offensive line means he should be a primary short area target for Dalton on Sunday.

Team Defense: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Jets
The Eagles defense has not been very good so far this season, as injuries have hit their depth and the secondary in particular has struggled. So fantasy owners have shed them in bunches, but Week 5 offers a great get-right opportunity.
The New York Jets have ceded the third-most fantasy points to opposing defenses so far this season (12.33 per game; Yahoo! scoring). There’s a faint chance Sam Darnold (mono/spleen) returns under center coming out of a bye, but if he doesn’t go Luke Falk will make his second NFL start on Sunday. In Week 3, Falk’s first start, the New England Patriots sacked him five times as the Jets put up just 105 yards of offense.
A limited quarterback with a thinned group of pass catchers is not set up to take advantage of Philadelphia’s porous secondary. There’s simply not an easier streaming defense out there for Week 5.
