Now, here are your quarterback, tight end and team defense fantasy football streamers for Week 7. It’s a rough bye week, with the Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams idle.
Quarterback: Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
A negative game script led to 41 pass attempts against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6, but Garoppolo completed 29 of them for 296 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. He has multiple passing touchdowns and more than 250 passing yards in back-to-back games, and he has topped 16.5 fantasy points in three of the five games he has played this season. Week 7 brings a good matchup.
The Kansas City Chiefs are allowing the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season (22.1 per game; Yahoo! scoring). All six quarterbacks they’ve faced have thrown multiple touchdown against them. Three, Justin Herbert, Tom Brady and Josh Allen to be fair, have topped 320 passing yards on them.
Garoppolo is in line to push toward 40 pass attempts again on Sunday. That gives him a better ceiling than the other quarterback streamers out there this week, with a a solid floor that won’t leave those in need of an option with a dud.

Tight End: Hunter Henry, New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears (Monday night)
Henry had four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. He has topped 50 yards in both games with Bailey Zappe starting under center for the Patriots, with a total of eight catches on 12 targets. Mac Jones (ankle) may return to action in Week 7, but Henry is going too well (16 targets over the last three games) to be ignored on the tight end landscape. It’s worth noting Jonnu Smith was active in Week 6, and Henry produced.
It’s not a great matchup for Henry in Week 7, as the Chicago Bears are a top-six fantasy defense against tight ends so far this season. But they have also not exactly faced a murderer’s row at the position, ceding just 30 targets to tight ends (tied for fourth-fewest in the league).

Henry probably needs a touchdown to pay off big this week, and a potential change back to Jones at quarterback might not be good news for him. But he isn’t likely to leave fantasy managers with nothing, and at a thin position in a tough bye week he’s my top tight end streamer for Week 7.

Team Defense: New York Jets at Denver Broncos
The Jets held the Green Bay Packers to 10 points in Week 6, while sacking Aaron Rodgers four times along with a blocked punt return touchdown. They have multiple sacks in four straight games, while allowing 17 points or less in the last two. There’s a good opportunity to keep things going in Week 7.
The Denver Broncos offense is struggling, as Russell Wilson looks like a shell of himself. They have scored more than 17 points once all season, and Wilson has been sacked at least three times in five straight games. Now they’ll be on a short week after playing Monday night in Week 6.
Traveling to the high altitude of Denver is not easy for opposing teams, so there’s a level of risk/downside here. But this Jets’ defense is playing very confidently right now, and the Broncos’ offense is easy pickings these days.
