Holy Jimmy Butler! Basically, if you didn’t roster him last night, chances are you didn’t make the cut. He and Ish Smith carried an otherwise awful lineup of mine into the bottom half of a GPP, who knew?
We have a nice sized slate tonight with 9 games on the docket, so we should have a ton of value plays, but before I jump into them I wanted to mention GoingFor2’s partnership with The DFS Round Table’s creator Gerson Aguirre.

Now let’s look at some values:
Point Guard
Derrick Rose, Bulls $6,000
Rose’s price has fallen to the “value” category, and if he plays tonight he has a great chance to exceed his paltry 6k salary. He sat out last night, but he went through shoot-around so it is not believed to be too serious — then again, it is Derrick Rose.
Jeremy Lin, Hornets $5,400
Lin-sanity is back!… Okay, not quite, but he has double-digit “real life” points in 5 of his last 6 games and has averaged close to 30 minutes over that span. He is a bit of a risk, but aren’t all the guys under 6k?
Shooting Guard
Avery Bradley, Celtics $4,900
Okay, this one is a bit of a stretch, but there isn’t much value at shooting guard. What do I see in Bradley that gives me the confidence to roster him? Minutes and Matchup. He has received at least 38 minutes a game over his last three and he gets to play those minutes against the Suns tonight.
Small Forward
Kelly Oubre, Wizards $3,500
This pick depends on the availability of Otto Porter. If Porter is forced to sit this one out, then the rookie Obre should draw the start at small forward. While he hasn’t shown us much in his rookie season, he has shown flashes of what he can do at times and with the minutes bump he could reach 5x value. This is a GPP play only!

Power Forward
Taj Gibson, Bulls $4,700
If Pau Gasol sits out another game, Gibson should be in for another good night. He gets a lot of his value from rebounding with an occasional point here and there. Dallas struggles defending the power forward position, and rebounding especially, so Taj could be a nice play.
Terrence Jones, Rockets $4,800
If Pau Gasol is back in the Bulls lineup then another good value is Jones. He has produced well in three of his last four games, and as long as he sees at least 30 minutes a night, he will give you, at least, one fantasy point per minute played.
Center
Amir Johnson, Celtics $5,500
Raise your hand if you saw that 47 fanduel point effort coming? Put your hand down, no you didn’t. You may have rostered him, but you didn’t expect him to get 47! I don’t expect him to get 47 tonight, but at $5,500 he doesn’t have to in order to hit value.
Joakim Noah, Bulls $5,100
Again, if Pau Gasol sits, all of the frontcourt players from the Bulls will get a bump in minutes and potentially production.
