Free NFL FanDuel Cash Line Up For Week 11, Sunday 11/22

Every week during the NFL season I’ll be publishing my cash game line up for FanDuel and the rationale behind all my selections. Hopefully, we’ll use this line up to double our money in our cash line ups.

Again, this is my cash game line-up, and while I always put it in a few GPPs, there are other players at a couple of positions better suited for tournaments.

QB Derek Carr ($7,700) There are a lot of back-ups starting at the QB position this week, and many people might be tempted by these low salaries in their cash line-ups. While going this route is a good idea for some of your tournament contests, I’m going the safe route in my cash games. Carr is quietly having a solid sophomore season, throwing for 2396 yards and 21 touchdowns. He’s up against a one-win Lions team that’s allowing 20.32 FanDuel points to opposing QBs and is ranked 28th against the pass by Football Outsiders.

RB Lamar Miller ($7,400) Miller’s usage as really picked up under new coach Dan Campbell, who looks to have ditched the committee approach that limited Miller’s upside earlier in the season. The Dolphins’ opponent, the Dallas Cowboys have been giving up the third most FanDuel points to the running back position this season and are ranked 27th against the run. Miller does much of his damage through the air, logging 33 reception for 319 yards on the year. The Cowboys are ranked 23rd defending RBs in the passing game. This contest features a solid 47 point over/under and a pick ’em line, meaning solid game flow for Miller.

RB Charcandrick West ($7,100) In West’s first three games since taking over the starting running back duties, West has 66 carries for 276 yards, 9 catches for 136 yards and four total TDs. If there was any doubt that West would be part of a committee, it’s gone now. West faces a Chargers run defense that’s last in practically every metric; FanDuel points and Football Outsiders rankings, and are even ranked 31st defending the position in the passing game. That’s bottom of the barrell. Kansas City is a three-point favorite with a 45 point over/under,so game flow is a positive.

WR Dez Bryant ($8,400) As bad as the Dallas Cowboys offense has looked most of the season, I think a lot of people have forgotten how good Dez Bryant is and what a touch down scoring machine he can be. He scored 16 last season while gaining 1320 yards through the air. Well, Tony Romo is back and Bryant will be facing a Miami 26th against the pass and dead last against opposing teams’ #1 WR. As I mentioned earlier, the game has a solid over/under and a pick’em line, meaning it should be competitive to the end and plenty of points should be scored.

WR Mike Evans ($8,000) Injuries have decimated Tampa’s receiving corps to the point that Mike Evans is the last man standing, so to speak. Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins are not expected to play again, leaving Evans a ton of potential targets. He’s had an up and down year, battling injury and a case of the drops, but seems to be over both now. Evans gets to go against an Eagles defense allowing the 3rd most FanDuel points to opposing WRs (34.17). It also doesn’t hurt that they’re ranked 31st vs opposing #1 receivers. Tampa is a 5 1/2 point underdogs, so if the game goes according to script, they should be throwing until the end.

WR Danny Amendola ($6,100) The Patriots have been getting bitten by the injury bug and the latest casualty is Julian Edelman, thrust Amendola back into the starting line-up. Amendola has played well this season while fellow WR Brandon LaFell was injured, catching 40 passes for 402 yards and a couple of TDs. Amendola is similar to Edelman in that he’s a possession receiver who should be counted on to move the chains in a game Vegas sees the Patriots scoring 27 points.

TE Jimmy Graham ($5,800) Graham has not had the type of season the Seahawks envisioned when they traded for him (of course if he had, his salary would be much higher.) Still, he leads the team in targets and gets an easy match up against a 49ers team that struggles to defend opposing TEs, they’re ranked 24th by Football Outsiders against the position and 31st against the pass overall. Vegas has the Seahawks implied total at nearly 27 points and RB Marshawn Lynch has been banged up, so they might want to use the passing game to take some pressure (and wear and tear) off of him.

K Chandler Catanzaro ($4,700) When it comes to kickers I have four blocks that I try to check: high over/under, favored to win, kicking at home and kicking in a dome. Catanzaro checks all four blocks and doesn’t break the bank either.

D N.Y. Jets ($4,700) After a strong start the season, the Jets defense has had a couple of rough outing recently, driving down their price. This works in our favor as they’ll get a great match up against a Texans team ranked 26th offensively and without their best weapon in Arian Foster. Making the Jets even more interesting is that Houston will be forced to start something called T.J. Yates at QB.
