March Madness “Super Eliminator” Challenge: The Elite 8

…And Then There Were Eight!

1. LeBron James vs 3. Russell Westbrook

James eeks by 2016-’17 MVP front-runner James Harden and runs straight into the other front-runner in the MVP race in Russell Westbrook. Westbrook dominated his matchup with former teammate turned enemy Kevin Durant, and looks to continue that momentum to make a Final Four appearance.

2. Tom Brady vs 3. Antonio Brown

Both Brady and Brown barely sneaked by their Sweet 16 matchup to make it to the Elite 8. On paper, it looks like Brown is overmatched going against Brady, but Steeler nation rivals that of Patriot nation so there is always hope.

2. Mario vs 3. Sonic

Two of the most iconic platform game characters of all-time, these two went head-to-head in the 90s when they were the featured game for their respective game systems. Sonic the Hedgehog was the poster child for the Sega Genesis, while Mario had that distinction for the Super Nintendo.

1. Batman vs 4. Wolverine

Wolverine represents the lowest seed left in the tournament, and his reward is a matchup with the man that took down Superman. Wolverine will be a highly unlikely Final four representative if he were to somehow make it by “The Batman”.
