MLB FanDuel Gut Feeling 7/30

No other way to put it, last night was ugly. I was worried about trying to find the right bats, and I unfortunately couldn’t find anyone outside of Cabrera. Good thing is today is a new day. On to tonight’s lineup:

Pitcher: Scott Kazmir $9,400
Kazmir did great in his Astros debut and gets thrown into a very important series with the Angels. He pitched very well against them last time and with a better offense behind him he could get another win tonight.

Catcher: Stephen Vogt $2,300
Vogt went hitless on the A’s interleague road trip but they are back home against the Indians tonight. I sense a bounce back game tonight. Vogt is my Ultimate Gut Call.

First Baseman: Chris Davis $4,100
Davis has been murdering right-handed pitching recently and faces another right handed tonight. Let’s hope this trend continues.

Second Baseman: Neil Walker $3,100
Walker has hits in eight of his past ten games and faces David Holmburg who makes his season debut. Walker has no history with this pitcher so I’m banking on him getting an early edge in this matchup.

Third Baseman: Miguel Sano $2,700
The young Twins hitter has impressed and gets to face Happ and the Mariners at home where Minnesota has been dominant.

Shortstop: JJ Hardy $2,700
Hardy’s hit streak continues with another homer last night. He faces a hitter friendly Tigers staff this weekend at home.

Outfielder: Melky Cabrera $3,800
I tried to get some new faces in my lineup compared to what I’ve been using the past couple of days but Cabrera has shown no signs of slowing down. Another good game should happen tonight.

Outfielder: Preston Tucker $3,200
Tucker tends to do well against right handed pitching and he’s facing a righty tonight. Against lefties he’s useless but against righties he’s normally a good bet.

Outfielder: Michael Brantley $3,700
After a strong finish against the Royals, Brantley travels to Oakland where hopefully he can hit a double or two in that spacious outfield.

Confidence Level: 4 out of 5

Let’s get back on track with these 50/50s tonight. Good luck everyone!
