PitchingÂ
Matt Harvey $10,300 vs. ATLÂ
Not feeling Arrieta today, especially at his price point. The Pirates have the best batting average in baseball and Arrieta is $12,100 playing on the road. Was really surprised to see Harvey struggle early on in the year against some pretty (Reds, Braves, etc.) Over his career, Harvey has pitched considerably better at home than on the road, and he has an excellent matchup against the NL’s worst offense in the Braves.
Marco Estrada $6,500 vs. TEX
Estrada changed his arm angle in the offseason and it’s worked wonders as he comes into today’s matchup with a 2.92 ERA and he’s averaging over 1 K/inning. Perez takes the mound against him, and it wouldn’t surprise any of us if he didn’t make it past the 2nd inning against Toronto’s righties. At just $6,500 tonight, Estrada has tremendous upside and should get the W tonight at home.

Mike Trout $5,400 @ MIL
Trout’s starting to hit again, possibly due to the fact that fans are trying to take his crown away of “best player in baseball” and give it to Harper. Trout faces Junior Guerra tonight, who is a 31-year-old right-hander, making his first career start in the bigs. Guerra has a 4.63 ERA in AAA, and if we’ve learned anything from DFS, it’s that players don’t just suddenly improve from the Minors to the Majors. Gotta love an Angels stack for tonight’s game at Miller Park.
J.T. Realmuto $3,400Â vs. ARI
Realmuto has been doing so well at the plate, Mattingly has promoted him to leadoff for the Marlins tonight against the D-backs. Realmuto is batting .312, and is averaging 9 DK points/game over his last 10 ball games. Vegas has this game at 9 combined runs, so there will definitely be some runs scored tonight in Miami
Brandon Crawford $4,100 @ CIN
San Francisco has a sneaky good offense. When you think of great hitting clubs, the Giants don’t come to mind but don’t sleep on these guys. San Fran scores in bunches and they have an excellent matchup tonight against righty Jon Moscot. We’ve discussed it many times before how there just aren’t a lot of great fantasy shortstops in the game today(especially considering the seasons Tulo and Correa have had). Crawford has an excellent .400 OBP against righties this season with all three of his 2016 home runs coming against right-handed pitching. The matchup is there tonight for Crawford at hitter-friendly Great American Ballpark.
Edwin Encarnacion $3,800 vs. TEX
Father time may be catching up to Encarnacion, as he approaches the tender age of 34. Encarnacion hasn’t lived up to his standards this year, and hasn’t even registered a hit in his last 5 ball games. DraftKings has lowered his price a bit to $3,800 and he’s got an excellent matchup tonight against a lefty at home. A Toronto stack is going to be the chalky tonight, so I’d throw one or two Blue Jays righties in my cash lineup…just to be safe.
