NBA DFS FanDuel Lineup Advice: Values 1/6/16

Alright, GF2 fans, I’m here once again to bring you some NBA DFS FanDuel advice! We’re looking at a huge 11 game slate packed full of great DFS action! I’m going to give you guys some nice value options who could help give you that slight edge you may need to score some cash.

So, here’s my NBA DFS FanDuel advice for 1/6/16:

Point Guards

Jameer Nelson, vs. Wolves ($5,500)

If Emmanuel Mudiay indeed misses another game on Wednesday night then Nelson could be in line for another great game. Over his last three contests, he has put up a solid 34.6 FanDuel points and has really helped to anchor the Nuggets lineup. He’ll be facing off against a Minnesota squad who is horrible versus point guards, allowing an average of 43.5 FanDuel points per game.

Jeremy Lin, vs. Suns ($5,300)

I feel a nice game coming for some of these Hornets players for this Wednesday slate of games! Lin recently came back from an injury and, for the most part, has been consistent for Charlotte. This season, Phoenix has given up an average of 44.2 FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards, making Lin a viable option for this slate.

Shooting Guards

Victor Oladipo, vs. Pacers ($5,700)

If Elfrid Payton misses this game, then Oladipo’s value instantly rises. Oladipo has had an up and down year, but could explode on any given night with some massive fantasy points. He’ll be taking on a Pacers team, who is middle of the pack versus shooting guards, allowing an average of 34.8 FanDuel points per contest. I wouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket on Oladipo, but he could be a decent play on Wednesday.

Wesley Matthews, vs. Pelicans ($5,100)

Last weekend, the Mavericks and Pelicans put in a fun, fast-paced game and I expect nothing less from them for this slate! This season, Matthews has averaged a solid 20.48 FanDuel points per game and scored 21.2 FD points versus New Orleans in their last meeting. So far this year, the Pelicans have given up an average of 40.6 FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards, making Matthews an ultra-viable DFS option.

Small Forwards

Marcus Morris, vs. Celtics ($5,200)

I’m not very confident in many of the lower-tier small forwards for this slate of games. Morris has been consistent this year for the Pistons and has the potential to pour in some fantasy points for your roster. If you have to dig deep down into the small forwards, then Morris may be a decent option.

Al-Farouq Aminu, vs. Clippers ($5,100)

Like I said above, there aren’t too many great value options at the small forward spot. I actually like Aminu slightly more than Morris for this slate of games, though. This season, Aminu has averaged a nice 22.45 FanDuel points per game, so he does have the ability to give you guys a nice DFS night.

Power Forwards

Ersan Ilyasova, vs. Celtics ($5,200)

I don’t expect a mind-blowing game from Ily on Wednesday night, but he will put in some decent numbers for you guys. Over the last few weeks, as long as he’s seen 30 minutes Ilyasova has put in some decent FanDuel nights for us. He’ll be taking on a Celtics squad, who allows a treacherous 44.0 FanDuel points per game to opposing small forwards this year.

Cody Zeller, vs. Suns ($4,700)

I’ve been on the Zeller bandwagon over the last few weeks ever since Al Jefferson went down with his injury! He has double-double potential every time he takes the floor for the Hornets and I see no reason why he can’t do it against this awful Suns team. This year, Phoenix has allowed an average of 40.1 FanDuel points per game to opposing power forwards, so I’m fully comfortable streaming Zeller for this slate.

Centers

Jonas Valanciunas, vs. Nets ($5,600)

There is one huge reason why I like Valanciunas for this slate of games and that’s how bad the Nets are versus big men. This season, Brooklyn has given up a league-worst 49.6 FanDuel points per game to opposing centers. So far this year, Valanciunas has averaged 24.51 FanDuel points per contest, so he could be a valuable asset for your DFS lineups.
