What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back once again with my NBA DFS FanDuel value plays. Thursday night’s main slate will only have five games on the schedule, so the value plays will be very important. Luckily, for you guys I’ve found just the right players that should make a positive difference in your FanDuel lineups.
So, here’s my NBA DFS FanDuel value plays for 11/17/16:
Point Guards
Tyler Johnson, vs. MIL ($5,000)
If Goran Dragic remains out for Miami, Johnson will once again be a nice value guy at point guard. So far this year, he’s managed to average a super solid 24.65 FD points per game for his owners. Yes, Milwaukee defends rather well versus opposing point guards but I still like his value for the most part. Johnson will easily receive 30+ minutes after a night off, so plug him into your lineups!
Sergio Rodriguez, @ MIN ($5,000)
If you’d rather play a guy with a better matchup, then check out Rodriguez, instead. So far this season, the Wolves have allowed an average of 49.8 FD points per outing to opposing point guards. Rodriguez has been hit and miss here lately but he should be able to hit value for this slate.
Shooting Guards
Eric Gordon, vs. POR ($5,200)
I’ve been very high on these Rockets perimeter players all week long! With Gordon back in Houston’s starting lineup, he’ll draw enough court time to provide us ample value for this slate. So far this season, he’s managed to average a cool 23.66 FD points per game for his loyal fantasy owners. The Rockets are one of the better offenses in the league and should flourish in this high-paced matchup.
Josh Richardson, vs. MIL ($4,300)
While Dragic has been out, Richardson has stepped into a starting role for the Heat. In two of his last three games, he’s scored 26+ FD points per outing for his owners. It wouldn’t surprise me if Johnson sees at least 30 minutes in what should be a competitive contest.
Small Forwards
Trevor Ariza, vs. POR ($5,300)
Like I said earlier, I love these Rockets sharp shooters for this slate! Ariza has been really prospering with James Harden running the point for Houston. In five of his last six games, Ariza has managed to score 24+ FD points for his owners and draws a nice matchup for Thursday night. Over their last five games, the Blazers have allowed an average of 41.6 FD points per contest to small forwards.

Jame Johnson, vs. MIL ($3,800)
This pick will be based on whether or not Justise Winslow will be available for the Heat. If Winslow sits again, Johnson’s value easily increases. In three of his last five games, Johnson has played 25+ minutes for Miami. This season, the Bucks have been one of the worst teams versus small forwards, allowing an average of 41.7 FD points per game to them.
Power Forwards
Gorgui Dieng, vs. PHI ($5,400)
Obviously, streaming guys versus this terrible Sixers defense is a good idea, so I love Dieng for value on Thursday. This year, he’s managed to average a smooth 25.31 FD points per game for his owners. So far in 2016, Philadelphia has given up an average of 42.7 FD points per contest to opposing power forwards. Between Karl-Anthony Towns and Dieng, the Wolves have a dynamic duo in the paint.
Trey Lyles, vs. CHI ($4,000)
I actually enjoy streaming big men against the Bulls more than any other team! The Bulls post players have been terrible versus power forwards in 2016, allowing an average of 43.0 FD points per game to the position. Right now, Derrick Favors is injured once again, making room for more playing time for Lyles. In his last game, Lyles played 32 minutes and scored a solid 30 FD points versus the Grizzlies.
Centers
Greg Monroe, @ MIA ($5,500)
It’s hard to predict just who will be the post guy that will see the most minutes for the Bucks. Well, right now John Henson is starting over Monroe but who knows what it’ll be by Thursday’s slate. This year, Monroe has been fairly consistent, averaging a solid 26.47 FD points per game. So far this year, the Heat have been awful versus centers, giving up an average of 47.5 FD points per contest.
Mason Plumlee, @ HOU ($5,100)
Plumlee just always seems to be a solid value play for my lineups. He’ll be playing in a what should be a high-scoring game with plenty of rebounding opportunities. Over their last five games, the Rockets have been terrible versus centers, allowing an average of 48.5 FD points per outing to the position. In 2016, Plumlee has managed to average a cool 24.75 FD points per contest for his loyal owners.
