NBA DFS Value for Fanduel 3/14/16 & the Press Coverage Podcast w/ Martin Brooks

Man, that was a rough weekend for GoingFor2. Friday, Saturday and Sunday were all bad days, but the best thing about DFS is every day is a new day. I have to look at today with a fresh mind and forget what happened the last few days.

As bad of a weekend, I had on Fanduel I had an awesome weekend on NoHalftime. If you haven’t tried this out yet, what are you waiting for? It’s so simple and easy to play and you win real money. All you do is either create or join head to head challenges, much like DFS, but instead of building an entire team you pit one player verse another.

So if you think Stephen Curry will outscore Russell Westbrook tonight, put $5 on it. It’s that easy! And now with my promo code G42, you will get $5 free to play, you have nothing to lose, and it’s so simple to join. Just follow this link, NoHalftime and when you sign up, enter my promo code G42 and start winning real money!

Seriously, it takes five minutes. You can thank me later when you have turned your $5 into $100.

Now on to tonight’s slate…

NBA DFS Value for Fanduel 3/14/16

Point Guard

Shelvin Mack (UTA) vs CLE $4,300

Mack has put up good numbers now in back to back games, going over 30 fanduel points in each. The Cavs are a good defensive team, but not at the point guard spot, Mack should be able to get you 25-30 fanduel points tonight.

Toney Douglas (NO) @ GS $4,100

nba fanduel lineup advice and podcast 3/14/16I was all over him the other night when he played the Bucks, and he let me down. He ended up hitting value, but only because he ended the game on a high note. In this high paced game against the Warriors, Douglas should be able to put up good numbers, as long as Norris Cole misses this game. If Cole plays, Douglas will still get decent minutes and could see junk time in the fourth quarter.

Other Options:

  • D.J. Augustin $4,300
  • Ray McCallum  $4,100

Shooting Guard

Gary Harris (DEN) @ MIA $5,200

There is a lot of value options at shooting guard tonight and you can go with a multitude of options, but one that I feel will be overlooked is Harris. Everyone will be playing Stephenson again tonight, and rightfully so, but if you want to go contrarian, then look no further than Harris. Ever since Danilo Gallinari went down for the season, Harris has picked up some of the slack, averaging over 20 fanduel points per game and 35 minutes over that stretch.

Other Options:

  • Lance Stephenson $5,600
  • Zach LaVine $5,400
  • Marcus Thornton $3,500

Small Forward

Corey Brewer (HOU) vs MEM $3,900

1024x1024With all the value we have at the guard positions we have an equally opposite amount of value at the two forward positions. Brewer is very hard to figure out and can be very inconsistent, but as a GPP play, he could be worth a look because of his relatively high upside.

Other Options:

Luke Babbitt $3,800 (only if Norris Cole sits and Jrue Holiday comes off the bench again)

Nikola Mirotic $4,700

Power Forward

None that I really like. Pay up for this position.

Center

Al Jefferson (CHA) vs DAL $5,200

I’ve been keeping my eye on Jefferson for awhile now, waiting for the Hornets to take off the handcuffs, and after logging 30 minutes verse Houston, I think the shackles have been removed. He may still have a minutes limit on back to backs, but if he is logging 30-plus minutes at $5,200 with his talent level, he could be a steal.
