NBA DraftKings DFS Values | 1/31/18

What’s up, GF2 fans! I’m back at it again this season bringing you guys some solid NBA values for the Wednesday night slate of games! This slate will consist of a nice 8-game schedule to play with. Each week the majority of my value plays will be at or under the $6,000 price range. Let’s get this DFS party started!

Point Guard

Yogi Ferrell @ PHO ($5,100)

This play will greatly be influenced if both J.J. Barea and Devin Harris are inactive for this outing. If both guys sit, Yogi could be a super solid play to insert into your lineups versus the Suns. So far this year, Phoenix ranks 25th overall at defending against opposing point guards. This season, Ferrell has averaged 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game for the Mavericks. He’ll more than likely see roughly 30 minutes of action in this one which gives me confidence in my man Yogi.

Tyler Johnson @ CLE ($4,900)

Johnson has started the last two games for the Heat following a five-game absence due to an ankle injury. So far this season, he’s managed to average a cool 22.7 FPPG for his owners and draws a nice matchup for Wednesday night. This year, the Cavaliers rank 23rd overall at defending against opposing point guards. This season, Johnson is averaging 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per outing for Miami.

Shooting Guard

Kent BazemoreKent Bazemore vs. CHA ($5,800)

Bazemore should be a solid play in a really nice matchup at home against the Hornets. So far this year, Charlotte ranks 20th overall at defending against opposing shooting guards. This season, Bazemore is averaging 12.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 steals per outing for Atlanta. In two of his last three outings, he’s scored 39+ FP for his loyal DFS owners.

Wesley Matthews @ PHO ($5,700)

The Dallas value plays are super interesting for this slate of games in a stellar matchup versus Phoenix. So far this season, the Suns rank 29th overall at defending against opposing shooting guards. This year, Matthews has managed to average a nice 24.3 FPPG for his owners. This season, he’s averaging 12.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per outing for Dallas.

Small Forward

Robert Covington @ BKN ($5,800)Robert Covington

Covington is kind of a streaky player but I can’t deny my love for him. So far this season, he’s managed to average a consistent 28.8 FPPG for his loyal owners and has a nice matchup for this slate. This year, the Nets rank 17th overall at defending against opposing small forwards. This season, Covington is averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game for Philly.

Jayson Tatum vs. NYK ($5,600)

Like Covington, Tatum is a super streaky player! In two of his last three outings, he’s scored 32+ FP for his owners and has a delightful matchup versus New York for Wednesday evening. So far this season, the Knicks rank 16th overall at defending against opposing small forwards. This year, Tatum is averaging 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for the Celtics.

Power Forward

DeMarre Carroll vs. PHI ($5,700)

This should be a fairly fun game to target for this slate! So far this year, the Sixers rank 18th overall at defending against opposing power forwards. This season, Carroll is averaging 13.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game for Brooklyn. In six of his last nine games, Carroll has scored 29+ FP for his loyal owners.

James Johnson @ CLE ($5,500)

These Miami guys could really flourish in a killer matchup against a bad Cleveland defense on Wednesday night. So far this season, the Cavaliers rank 27th overall at defending against opposing power forwards. This year, Johnson has managed to average a solid 25.2 FPPG for his loyal owners. This season, he’s averaging 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists per outing for the Heat.

Center

Jarrell Martin @ IND ($4,900)

With JaMychal Green considered doubtful for this slate, Martin could be a great value option for our lineups. Over his last four outings, Martin has scored 22+ FPPG for his owners and draws a decent matchup for Wednesday evening. So far this year, the Pacers rank 17th overall at defending against opposing centers. In three of his last four games, Martin has played 32+ minutes per outing for the Grizzlies.

Dirk Nowitzki @ PHO ($4,700)

Like I said earlier, these Dallas value guys are in play for me on Wednesday night versus the Suns. So far this season, Phoenix ranks 30th overall at defending against opposing centers. This year, Nowitzki has managed to average a cool 23.9 FPPG for his loyal DFS owners. This season, he’s averaging 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Mavericks.
