*** Durrant out, here is the update

Wow. What an awful day for my lineup yesterday. I think I only hit on one player, Kawhi. Pretty much everyone else had a sub-par game or downright awful like Parsons.

After the high from Saturday’s lineup, it made Sunday’s lineup hurt even more. I really thought I was out of my slump, but gotta keep it going. Looks like 2 games have been canceled tonight, so check your lineups.

There are a ton of value plays tonight, and with the 2 canceled games, I think I’m using all of them in my lineup today, so my lineup has some big name players. Going with a different approach today, since my “overall value” isn’t working, I’m going to try a more “studs and duds” lineup. So here is what today’s lineup looks like:

PG Westbrook obviously falls in the stud category. Coming off a long 5 game east coast road trip, one in which he scored over 40 twice and over 50 twice, he comes home to the Bucks. Westbrook should continue his streak of 40+ tonight.

At the other PG slot, I went with Larry Drew II. Who?? Well, the starting point guard for the 76ers, and well, the only point guard for the 76ers tonight. MCW is out tonight, and Wroten is gone for the year.

Drew may not put up huge numbers, but for his price, and that fact that he’ll get ALL the minutes he can handle, makes him a must start. If he can get mid 20’s tonight I’d be happy, as his price allowed me to upgrade considerably.

SG Eric Gordon had a bit of a rough night versus the Mavericks last night. I expect him to bounce back tonight versus a short handed Philly team. 30+ should be expected.

Evan Turner at the other guard spot isn’t quite as good value as Gordon, but he has been playing really well lately. He even had a good game versus Golden State, which is usually brutal against shooing guards.

SF Another Stud Dud position. Durrant, like Westbrook, has been on a tear lately. Returning home to the Bucks, he should continue his dominance. He and Westbrook are trying to single handedly get OKC into the playoffs.

Ingles is getting the minutes with Alec Burk gone for the season, and his is producing above his $4100 price tag. As with Larry Drew, his price tag was to good to ignore and allowed me to get Durrant. Expecting mid 20’s low 30’s from him versus a bad Celtics team.

PF My last stud in the lineup is Blake Griffin. I’m not a huge fan of his, and I rarely take him in Fanduel. His numbers are hard to ignore though. Having over 40 in 4 of his last 5 and one 50 mixed in there, he should be a good play tonight versus a Denver team that likes to run. Points will be scored in this one, and Blake will get a lot of those points.

Brandon Bass had a down game versus the Warriors, but who doesn’t? I expect him to get back on his nice little steak here of 30+ games versus a Utah team in which he will be needed to play big minutes. I’m expecting mid to high 30’s, and maybe into the 40’s tonight.

C Last time I convinced everyone to go Asik, he let me down. Scoring only 9 FDP, but I’m gonna convince you to use him again. He should be able to get 25-30 minutes tonight, and he’ll flirt with a double double. 12 points 12 rebounds or close to it. Look at his game log, he has 2 bad games mixed into a bunch of double doubles.

Good luck tonight. Sorry for the short post today, I’m doing my blog during my lunch break. Please feel free to comment with your questions, I’ll try to answer them as soon as I can(I’m back at work today) and please subscribe to the blog on the main page, and follow me on Twitter @geofflambert77
