NBA Fanduel Value Plays 2/26/15

Whats going on everyone? Well, for those that visited the site yesterday, you probably saw that we were down for awhile. I apologize for that but we are back tonight! I know I say this every time, but it feels good to write again. I’ve added so many writers lately that I’m having a hard time keeping up with all the content we are pushing out.

Enough of all that, let’s get down to the good stuff. We have a nice sized eight-game slate tonight, and there are some nice values to be had. So without further ado here is tonight’s

NBA Fanduel Value Plays 2/26/15

Point Guard

Cory Joseph (OKC) vs CLE $4,300

What’s not to like about a guy getting 25-plus minutes and game, putting up 25 or more fantasy points in three of his last four games and gets a good matchup with the Cavs shallow backcourt? Exactly. He is the best value for the money for a point guard.

Shooting Guard

Evan Fournier (ORL) @ NY $5,500

nba fanduel value 2/26/16How good has this guy been lately? And his price tag has barely moved, As I write this he is in the midst of another huge performance and there is no reason to think he can’t continue what he is doing against a bad New York defense.

Lance Stephenson (MEM) @ LAL $3,500

Yeah I know, he only had 13 fantasy points the last time out — and against these same Lakers — but there are two reasons I like him tonight. 1) Even with his 13 fantasy points, he was only four points away from hitting five-times value. 2) He got the exact same minutes he received in his first game for Memphis, so he role in the rotation is safe. At least, until the Griz start getting healthy.

Small Forward

Matt Barnes (MEM) @LAL $5,000

Another Memphis player going up against the lowly Lakers with the biggest difference being he played awesome in the last game. Barnes had 25 real life points and though I don’t expect that again, he is the type of player to fill up the stat sheet. He should get 35-plus minutes again tonight and I expect him to be over five-times value (25).

Hollis Thompson (PHI) vs WAS $3,700

Let me say is again, “Start the small forward against the Wizards!” Okay, all jokes aside, this pick is a bit of a risk, but the fact remains, Washington is awful against the small forward and Thompson has been getting close to 30 minutes. At $3,700 he doesn’t have to do much.

Power Forward

Taj Gibson (CHI) @ ATL $5,300

nba fanduel value 2/26/16The Gibson we saw in that last game was the guy I expected to see when Joakim Noah went down for the year. It took him about two months to finally get there. Now, can he do it again? Probably not, but at $5,300 he only needs to get 26 fantasy points to hit five-times value.

Center

Zaza Pachulia (DAL) vs DEN $5,700

After playing back to back games in which he logged 40-plus minutes, he only received 24 and 19 over his last two. With the plethora of big men the Nuggets have, I think Zaza will have to log close to 40 again tonight. I’m predicting double-double for him tonight.
