NBA Playoffs Fanduel Lineup Advice and Analysis for 5/13

Tough night for us, Brendan and I swung and missed with our lineups today. Crawford, Rivers, Jordan and Mosgov all drastically under performed, killing both of my lineups. Let’s put this bad night behind us and look to Wednesday.

Once again, I’ll be breaking down the same 4 teams as I did 2 nights ago, so I’m just going to concentrate on the value plays.

Before we get into tonight’s games, I want to mention Draftpot again. If you love DFS, than you have no reason to not sign-up. My promo code literally gives you $4 to play, not to mention they run freerolls every night. Take 5 minutes, go to Draftpot.com, use my promo code GOING42, verify your email address, get $4 free. It’s that simple. Their mobile site isn’t up yet, so you have to do it from a desktop or laptop, but it’s extremely easy to do.

Ok let’s get to tonight’s slate.

Point Guard

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Beno Udrih

Beno Udrih $3000 Beno had an off game in game 4, but so did the entire Grizzlies team except Gasol. At $3000 he only needs 15 to reach value, something he has done twice in this series. He should continue to get 15-20 minutes a game, and I expect his Fanduel Points to be in that same range.

Shooting Guard

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Kent Bazemore

Kent Bazemore $2000 Averaging 16 minutes a game, his upside is somewhat limited, but he only needs to get 10 Fanduel Points to reach value, and he will allow you to pay up at another position. It’s not a sexy pick, but he’ll be low owned and could be the difference you need.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Courtney Lee

Courtney Lee $3800 I had him as a punt play 2 nights ago and he let me down, but with Tony Allen listed as questionable he could be in-line for a minutes bump. Normally I avoid punt plays on the road, but his best game is in this series was at Golden State.

Small Forward

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Vince Carter

Vince Carter $2300 I’m going to go to the well once more with Carter. He put up 17 Fanduel Points in the last game, and I expect similar production from him, despite being on the road. If Tony Allen sits, he may pick up some of those minutes.

Power Forward

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
David Lee

David Lee $2000 I almost called him out the other night, but I wasn’t sure how many minutes he would get in a must win situation. Now that that question has been answered, I like him a lot, especially in a home game, he could be the best value of the night.

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Nene Hilario

Nene Hilario $3800 I said if he played well again, I would start to believe. He didn’t play as well as he did in game 3, but he did enough to convince me that he is now viable.

Center

NBA Fanduel Lineup 5/13/15
Pero Antic

Pero Antic $2400 This one is a bit of a reach, but he checks all of my “super punt” boxes. Consistent minutes. Has shown he can reach value. Near minimum salary. Playing at home. He is a GPP only option and only if you’re feeling lucky.

That’s all I got tonight. Lineups will come out later today. I need to really break down some home/away splits and figure out who I like with both series’ changing venues. You can use my Contact Form to request my lineup.

Now go sign up for Draftpots.com, and if you do sign up, feel free to use the Contact Form for my lineup. Building lineups is a bit more difficult on Draftpots, but I think I’ve figured out the strategy.

Good Luck!
