NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Plays for Week 6

Welcome to the Week 6 edition of the NFL DFS FanDuel GPP plays. Week 6. This article will focus on the main slate on FanDuel, which has 13 games this week. Just as a reminder, this article is not meant to be an actual FanDuel GPP lineup, but rather an article focusing on some good stand-alone options for your GPP lineup. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my favorite GPP options for Week 6.

NFL DFS FanDuel GPP Plays for Week 6

DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel GPP Play of the Day

Tom Brady (NE) vs. CIN $9,000

Tom Brady is my DailyFantasyNerd FanDuel GPP Play of the Day. Believe it or not, I think that Brady will be lower owned than expected in GPPs.  I sense that Cam Newton, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger will be the three chalk options this week Brady looked great in his season debut last week and anytime you can own Brady at a low ownership in GPPs, he is definitely a great option.

Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers (GB) vs. DAL $8,800
With all of the other good options at quarterback this week, many will probably lose sight of how well Aaron Rodgers performs at home. In his career at Lambeau Field, Rodgers has a ridiculous quarterback rating of 109.2. Rodgers and the Packers should have no problems putting up points against the Cowboys this week, who have an average pass defense at best.

Tyrod Taylor (BUF) vs. SF $7,800
Tyrod Taylor has been far from great this season. However, he should have plenty of opportunities to score this week since he is playing against the fast-paced, 49ers. Taylor is always a threat to pick up yards with his legs and at this salary, he makes for a great value option in GPPs.

Running Backs

Ezekiel Elliott (DAL) @ GB $8,100
This kid is truly special. Ezekiel Elliott had another great game, this time against a respectable Bengals’ defense. Elliott will likely be tested again this week against the Packers, who have allowed the fewest DraftKings points to running backs this season. Since it is a difficult matchup, he will likely be low owned in GPPs. However, he is talented enough to be used, even in the most difficult of matchups.

Giovani Bernard (CIN) @ NE $5,700
Jeremy Hill came out of the game early in Week 5 with an injury and Giovani Bernard shined in garbage time against the Cowboys. Even if Hill is able to suit up this week, it is shaping up to be a Bernard game since the Bengals are nine-point underdogs to the Patriots. With the Patriots’ defense looking to take A.J. Green completely out of the equation, Bernard could do a ton of damage with receptions out of the backfield.

Todd Gurley (LA) vs. BUF  $7,600
Todd Gurley remains to be a focal point of the Rams’ offense averaging 21 carries per game this season. Last week he had a decent game against the Bills with over a 100 yards on 23 carries and 3 receptions, while adding a TD. Gurley should have no problem producing again this week against the Lions, who have not been as stout against the run like they have been in previous seasons.

Wide Receivers

Doug Baldwin (SEA) vs. ATL $7,600
Through four games this season, Doug Baldwin leads the Seahawks in targets, receptions, yards and touchdowns. Despite Jimmy Graham returning to full health, I don’t see this changing anytime soon/ Baldwin has had great chemistry since they have been playing together. Also, the Seahawks have a great matchup this week against the Falcons, who have been awful against the pass this season.

Will Fuller (HOU) vs. IND $6,900
Will Fuller was shut down by the Vikings’ elite defense in Week 5. Things should be better for Fuller in Week 6 against the Colts, though. With Vontae Davis likely to be shadowing DeAndre Hopkins, Fuller should see a much easier matchup against Rashaan Melvin for most of the day.

Allen Robinson (JAC) @ CHI $8,600
Allen Robinson struggled in his first two games of the season, but he bounced back with three touchdowns in his last two games. He should be somewhat low owned and should have no problem against the Bears in Week 6, who were shredded by T.Y. Hilton last week.

Tight Ends

Travis Kelce (KC) @ OAK $6,400
Travis Kelce continues to be Alex Smith’s second-favorite target in the Chiefs’ offense with at least seven targets in every game this season. Kelce will look to score a touchdown in his third consecutive game this Sunday against the Raiders, who have been dreadful at defending the tight end position since the beginning of the 2015 season.

Delanie Walker (TEN) vs. CLE $6,700
Delanie Walker has not been putting up huge numbers every week this season like he was in 2015. However, he still remains one of the Marcus Mariota’s favorite target with 27 targets in four games this season. The Titans should be able to exploit the Browns’ defense in Week 6, who have allowed the most FanDuel points to tight ends this season.

Defense

Seahawks (SEA) vs. ATL $4,800
The Falcons have been great so far this season, but I’m expecting a slight hiccup from their offense when they visit the Seahawks in Seattle. The Seahawks are still a dominant force to reckon with at home and I believe they will come in a little under-owned since the late afternoon games have a tendency to fly under the radar in DFS.

Lions (DET) vs. LA $4,500
The Lions are far from great on defense, but they tend to play a little better at home in their loud dome. Also, they have a fantastic matchup against the Rams who have allowed the third-most FanDuel points to opposing defenses this season. If the Lions can just contain Todd Gurley, they may be a really sneaky option for your GPP lineups in Week 6.
