Sports in the Stars November Sports Horoscope

Welcome to the first edition of Sports in the Stars.  Each month I’ll be bringing you your monthly sports competition outlook according to your zodiac sign.  We use so many different methods of predicting outcomes of matches, superstitions on game-day, so why not consult the stars and see what your favorite team may have in store for you!  Disclaimer:  just like all horoscopes, this is intended for entertainment purposes only.

Capricorn Dec. 22 – Jan. 19

Great news Capricorn!  November is a positive money month for you and also has strong ties to home.  Perhaps it is time for the ambitious Capricorn to throw out his conservative view and join in online fantasy sports games.  Be sure to bet on the favorite teams and players of your extended family.  This is also a month of quiet reflection on long-term goals.  Perhaps it is time to admit that veteran player on your favorite team has finally passed his peak and it may be time to retire that jersey in favor of a younger rookie that is starting to make a name for himself.  As winter gets into full swing, you may enjoy sitting by the fire and watching your favorite sports snuggled up with a loved one however for this month throw your determination for victory out the window and just enjoy the time spent watching.

Aquarius Jan. 20 – Feb. 18

For Aquarius, November should be a month full of friendship and traveling.  This is a great time for your unpredictability and spontaneity to shine.  Throw responsibility out the window and travel to an away game with the gang, your seat neighbors at the stadium may not like your team but will love your passion and you’re sure to have a great time.  Travel not a possibility in your life right now?  Branch out to online groups for your favorite teams, your unique perspective and insight into the season is sure to win you some new friendships this month.  You can’t go wrong speaking your opinion right now and people will be drawn to you.  Towards the end of the month, you may be feeling uncertain as to your team’s future, but don’t let that stop you from continuing to go out and enjoy the games.

Pisces Feb. 19 – Mar. 19

The start of the month does not hold good signs for the favorite teams of the Pisces.  Avoid any kind of monetary bets until after Thanksgiving.  It is tough for Pisces to think with their head and not their heart, but in your fantasy lineups force yourself to use logic and expert advice instead of selecting your favorites until next month.  If Pisces is a baseball fan, the end of the season may have held some heartache.  It is not all bad news however!  A friend may introduce you to the love of a new sport this month.  Not into hockey or basketball?  Try watching with your fan friends!  You may find something to fill the hole left by the end of baseball or the poor season of your football team.  Take heart however, any bad moves by your teams this month will prove worthwhile next month so hold onto hope.  Comfort for a loss could come from a potential new friend or love interest so keep your eyes wide.

Aries Mar. 20 – Apr. 18

This is a great month in the career of the Aries.  In the office you can do no wrong this month, so be sure to join into the weekly office pools and bet on your favorite football team.  Outside of work, this is a time for Aries to focus on their love life and trying new things.  Attached?  Take that special someone to a game at the local high school where you can act like teenagers again.  Single?  Go watch that game anyway!  You may catch the eye of another solo spectator.  Try and keep yourself off the message boards for your team this month, your gloating and overly strong opinions may ruffle some feathers if spoken behind a keyboard so stick to going out and having fun during game time where people can see your strong personality face to face and your words can’t be misinterpreted.

Taurus Apr. 19 – May 20

This is an intense month for the Bull.  If you play in a dynasty league, it is time to plan for the future.  Get a jump on dumping older players and pick up any promising young talents that may have fallen to the waiver wire.  You love your favorite team to the point of stubbornly refusing to see their faults, however it may be time to evaluate their direction this season and admit they are not without flaws.  All is not lost, but be realistic in your expectations.  You’re very wise about your team but sometimes that can get lost behind your passion, try to show others that you are a true fan and not just another mindless homer this month.  Mid month, take a chance and accept a daring bet that may come your way, the stars are in your favor of winning and you will be happy you jumped on the opportunity.

Gemini May 21 – Jun. 20

The dual natured Gemini will be in his full social glory this month.  Watching sports is a great entertainment but this month you should also get out and play!  Join a flag football game or shoot some hoops at the park.  Regardless of how your team is doing, this is a time for you to be happy in your relationships, plan a bet with your significant other or that hottie that has been catching your eye, no matter the outcome it should bring you closer together.  Host a party for a major game, plan a date night at a hip sports bar, but beware you don’t over indulge!  A bad play from a favorite player could cause you some frustration, but keep a level head.  Just as fitness and health is an important part of pro sports, it is important for you this month.  Serve healthy appetizers and avoid heavy main courses, you’ll be thankful for it when summer weather comes back around.  Think of it as getting a head start on spring training.

Cancer Jun. 21 – Jul. 22

Put aside your bad mood, because the future is bright!  Have some fun this month with your fantasy team names, your opponents will think you’re a creative genius!  Go against the grain on weekly fantasy games and put together a squad of unique misfits who will be on fire!  This is also a month for home ties and I’m seeing a Thanksgiving full of family, food, and football.  Gather with those closest to you, even if you’re not blood related to enjoy smiles and create memories in front of the games.  Attached?  You and your significant other may turn off a game at half time for some one-on-one sport.  Single?  Look for a rival fan to get your fire burning and to create sparks both on and off the field/court/ice.  This is a time for pessimistic Cancer to be enjoying life so get out there!

Leo Jul. 23 – Aug. 22

If Leo can control their ego this month, happiness is in store.  The stars show an emphasis on improving the home but be careful not to overspend.  Your hard work has paid off and it’s time to reward yourself with something nice.  Considering a new TV to watch your favorite games?  Watch for some fantastic Black Friday deals.  Passions run high this month so be careful not to alienate your nearest and dearest.  When your team is on top, everyone will be wrapped up in your jubilation, but when your team sees a tough loss be sure to keep your temper in check!  Don’t be obsessive over changing your fantasy lineups, this month your first instinct will be correct so don’t over think your choices.  If a loved one says you’re spending too much time on the details of a game, be sure to stop and enjoy a moment with them it will pay off.

Virgo Aug. 23 – Sep. 22

Busy, busy, busy month for Virgo.  You will feel like you’re constantly on the go this month, but that is okay by you.  Your desire to be out and about at every game and sporting event may reach a near obsessive level towards the end of the month, be sure to take at least one day to watch a game subdued with just the person closest to you.  Your trash talk skill is at an all time high, so be sure to tell your fantasy opponents and division rivals exactly what is on your mind!  You may be aiming to cause controversy over match ups, but you’ll just be seen as charming.  This is also a great time to pursue a new personal interest, accept an invitation to an amateur sporting event, you may end up becoming a big fan.  Enjoy the happy chaos now before the cold weather puts your social and sports life on ice, although by then you may be ready for the break.

Libra Sep. 23 – Oct. 22

People will be attracted to you this month and you may see many offers to watch games or sporting events.  Don’t be afraid to say no for once if a particular game is not important to your team.  Your key word for this month is moderation.  Don’t get too wrapped up in every game, focus just on the ones that have meaning.  You love your teams, but they can cause some turmoil right now if you allow yourself to dwell on every loss.  Try taking advantage of the creative energy in your stars right now and put your sports passion to good use, create a blog about your favorite team, contribute to online discussions, or engage strangers  wearing your team gear in great conversation about their chances.  Your views are appreciated right now and you could help a fellow fan feel better about the season or future of the franchise.

Scorpio Oct. 23 – Nov. 21

Happy birthday my fellow Scorpios!  This is a time to shake off past negativity and really shine.  Money is in the stars so it may be wise to invest those birthday checks in some weekly fantasy games, especially early in the month.  When it comes to communication, you are on fire this month.  Speak your mind about your team, your opponents teams, or even teams you don’t care about and you will be seen as intelligent and commanding of an audience.  Towards the end of the month, pull  back a bit, you might get so wrapped up in all the different sports going on, you may miss some important fantasy substitutions that could make or break your season.  Don’t be afraid to seek expert advice if your head is swirling with too many possibilities on who to start.  Your passion is contagious this month, so people will be happy to help.

Sagittarius Nov. 22 – Dec. 21

You and your teams are on fire right now!  Even if you’re not winning every game, players are living up to the hype and you see a bright future for your favorite franchises.  Get out and enjoy the vibe with your fellow fans at the local sports pub, the companionship and excitement will energize you and make you an even bigger fan.  Be careful not to bet beyond your means, although everything is going your way, the extra skip in your step could cause you to make an unwise money decision so it is best to stick to small bets or non-monetary bets until your head is out of the clouds.  The positivity of your teams may cause you to be lazy in other areas of your life, be sure to also invite any close friends or your partner to enjoy the festivities with you so they don’t think you are neglecting the relationship.  As long as you don’t forget your responsibilities, this month will be a great ride for you and your teams.
