The Best Cash Game Picks for Week 9 (DraftKings)

Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers – 5900

I know it hasn’t been Aaron Rodgers’ year but this is the week he shines. Playing in a dome vs the Lions who give up 24.71 Fantasy points per game to opposing QBs on average and at a cheap 5900 price tag. The Packers also boast the 2nd highest team total per Vegas on the slate. I’m all in on Aaron Rodgers as my cash game QB this week.

Other Notable QBs – Marcus Mariota, Kyler Murray

Running Back

Austin Ekeler – 8900

The price tag is high but with all the injuries on the Chargers, they will have no choice but to force-feed Ekeler as much as he can handle. His work in the receiving department is an added bonus on DraftKings. I think he has the highest upside of any RB on the slate.

Notable Pivot – Aaron Jones

Travis Etienne – 6300

With James Robinson gone, it’s Etienne season. 6300 is way too cheap for a running back with his workload and ability. The Raiders can definitely be run on and this is a smash spot for Travis

Wide Receiver

DeAndre Hopkins – 7900

Hopkins is still too cheap this week. Since coming back he has been a target hog for Kyler Murray and I don’t expect that to change this week. Averaging 13.5 targets in his 2 games back sign me up for another high-volume day vs the Seahawks

Notable Pivot – Tyreek Hill

Josh Palmer – 5100

The Chargers are decimated at Wide Receiver with Mike Williams out and Keenan Allen unlikely to play sign me up for 5100 Josh Palmer.

Tight End

Robert Tonyan – 3800

I usually like to pay down at TE in cash games and Robert Tonyan fits the bill this week coming in at under 4K. I really like the spot the Packers are in this week. The Lions have given up 5 TDs on the season to the tight end position and Tonyan is averaging 5 targets in his last 3 games.

Defense

Carolina Panthers – 2300

Another position I typically pay down for in cash games is defense. With a 2300 price tag the Panthers don’t have to do much and the Bengals’ offensive line has been vulnerable. Burrow has been taking a ton of sacks and just last week the Browns sacked him 5 times. Give me the Panthers’ D
