The Best DFS Stacks for Week 2 (9/18/2022)

Week 2 Stacks

What’s up everyone, Jerry is back again with my favorite DFS stacks for week 2! Last week was fairly successful. The Winston/Landry stack did well. Jonathan Taylor and Indy’s defense was a good combo. In fact, the only thing that stopped me from becoming a millionaire was the rest of my lineup! So here we are for week 2. This is for the main Sunday slate only and all pricing is based on Draft Kings. Good luck everyone!

Russell Wilson ($$7200) and Courtland Sutton ($6100) or Jerry Jeudy ($5600), bring it back with OJ Howard ($3000)

The Broncos’ offense is far too talented to “dud” 2 weeks in a row. Yes, Jerry Jeudy had a nice game and yes, Javonte Williams was solid in PPR, but the team won’t be limited to 16 points often. Houston is a defense that can be attacked all over, especially in the secondary where the defensive backs are very young. Michael Pittman found holes in this defense all over the field last week and that was without a second alpha receiving option. Now Houston is challenged with both Jeudy AND Sutton. I hate following the previous week’s hype but Denver was very vulnerable to the TE last week. The Seahawks combined for 8 receptions for 102 yards and 2 TDs from the TE position. Houston isn’t going to run a foolproof, 3-headed monster but they will be looking in Howard’s direction in the red zone. A TD is all we need to hit on this pick.

Nick Chubb ($7100) and Browns DST ($3700), bring it back with Elijah Moore ($5000) – New York Jets at Cleveland Browns, 1:00 pm est.

The Browns have started off their 2022 campaign as (tied for) the best rushing team in the league, in terms of attempts. I have no doubt in my mind that they’ll continue that trend. The Jets’ run defense isn’t one to necessarily expose but neither was Carolina and Chubb was able to rip off 140+ yards on the ground. The Browns DST is one of the league’s better ones, and the cost reflects it.

There’s not a much better matchup though on the slate. Will we get Joe Flacco or Zach Wilson? Quite frankly it doesn’t matter. I like Elijah Moore the most this week for the Jets. Of the 3 big WRs for them last week, he was the least targeted, but that won’t be an every-week occurrence. I believe the Jets’ DFS WR usage this year will come down to who you think has the week you want. The offense won’t support all 3 on a weekly basis but they will have their games. Moore is the most expensive this week, followed by Corey Davis and then Garrett Wilson

Derek Carr ($6200) and Hunter Renfrow ($5500) – Arizona Cardinals at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 pm est.

I’m going right back to attacking the Cardinals’ defense. They weren’t able to get much pressure last week Vs the Chiefs and Mahomes was able to torch them for 5 TDs. Obviously, Carr isn’t Mahomes but Carr has the weapons to put up QB1 numbers any given week. The chalk stack with Carr is Adams, but I wanted to go cheaper and outside the box and take Hunter Renfrow. Renfrow definitely takes a backseat with Adams in town and a healthy Darren Waller but he will have those boom weeks and I believe this is one of them. This is also the highest over/under game on the week so I want various pieces.
