The Best DraftKings Cash Game Picks for Week 8 10/31/2021

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts ($7,200)

There’s a few differnt ways you can go in cash this week at the Quarterback position. I’m going Jalen Hurts, he’s has been extremely consistent in terms of fantasy scoring. Hurts is averaging 26 DK points per week, thats a very impressive number even if I don’t believe he’s the best actual Quarterback he’s solid for fantasy. I think you could easily play Tom Brady here as well for just $200 more.

Running Backs

Kenneth Gainwell ($5,000)

There’s alot to like here with Gainwell both in Cash an in GPP, he just allows you to do so much elsewhere. Miles Sanders should be officially ruled out soon, which will give much of the workload to Gainwell and Boston Scott. I don’t love how Philly has treated Running Backs this season, however Gainwell offers a lot in the passing game. He’s cheap and allows you to pay up else where.

Eli Mitchell ($5,400)

There’s some value to be had this week at Running Back. I’m going to eat up both of this low priced guys this week. The 49ers always have and always will be a run first team. Mitchell is healthy again and is dominating the work load in San Francisco. It’s been a very long time since we seen the 49ers give one guy all the carries but that’s essentially what happened in Week 7.

Wide Receivers

Jamar Chase ($7,500)

Jamar Chase is basically a cheat code right now at WR. He has 6 touchdowns in 7 weeks, the rookie is absolutely dominating. The match-up vs The Jets isn’t great as they are 3rd best in the NFL against the WR position, but Chase is getting the targets you want to see he’s trending towards 10 a game now. The Bengals other WRs in Boyd and Higgins are watching Chase score week in week out. The Bengals RB is healthy again, but how much of a work load do they want to give him in a game against The Jets, probably not much.

Chris Godwin ($6,400)

In the first game without Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin saw 11 targets with 8 catches 111 yards and a touchdown. Many of his targets that weren’t catches also came in the red zone. It’s simple for as long as Antonio Brown is out play Chris Godwin. Tom Brady looks incredible yet again don’t run away from this one.

Tight-End

Tyler Higbee ($4,500)

Tight-End is pretty gross this week in my opinion. The Texans are dead last in the NFL vs Tight-Ends. The Rams are a very good football team, Higbee should absolutely has his chances in this game. Higbee literally catches almost everything with an 82% catch rate.

Defense

This defense has been pretty disappointing all year in fantasy. The defense is still very talented and for a $2,100 price tag vs Teddy Bridgewater and The Broncos I’ll take my shots here. Thanks to everyone that stopped by for my weekly report, we are now 5/7 in cash games through 7 weeks.
