The Best Fantasy Football Week 10 Wavier Wire Additions

RB Keaton Mitchell (BAL) 3% Rostered

Mitchell got a chance to play his first meangful snaps of 2023 and he did not disappoint after finishing as the RB-4 with over 100 scrimmage yards on ten touches and one TD. Gus Edwards has been the leader of the backfield since JK Dobbins went down with a season-ending Achilles injury.

While Justice Hill offers a lightening to Edwards’ thunder, Mitchell’s 4.37-speed cannot be ignored. While he has battled injury for the early part of the season, the former Pirate had over 2,500 rushing yards in his final two seasons at ECU and is picking up where he left off. At this point in the season viable waiver adds are hard to come by, and Mitchell could easily step into an expanded role in a high-powered offense. – @FatherDynasty

QB Joshua Dobbs (MIN) 20%

Unbelievable does not even scratch the surface of what Joshua Dobbs has accomplished this season. Dobbs played well in the Kyler Murray’s stead and stepped in for an injured Jaren Hall in the same week that he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings (Week 9) to finish as the QB-5.

On the year Dobbs is the QB-9 and he will likely have Justin Jefferson back in the coming weeks as the Vikings continue to pursue their playoff aspirations. Per the Strength of Schedule tool from FantasyLife.com (based on implied point totals), the Cardinals have the hardest schedule while the Vikings have the 10th-easiest schedule. Dobbs persevered through a difficult situation in Arizona and should serve as at worst a safe backup QB from here on out. – @FatherDynasty

TE Jake Ferguson (DAL) 74%

I get it, that is a large percentage of Ferguson shares on Sleeper, but honestly I think he is still out there in numerous leagues, especially redraft…GO grab him. He has had two monster back to back weeks. Week 9 versus the Eagles, he had 10 targets and 91 yards with a TD. As long as Dak continues to throw, he will be second in targets to Lamb.

I know prior to Week 8, he was more bench worthy than starter material but there are alot of byes coming up(Dallas already had theirs),and I love Ferguson as a Top TE coming up. The Cowboys plays Giants, Panthers, Commanders, and Seattle(all beatable defenses) before playing Philly again. He is a big target, and I like his ability to stretch plays. I snagged him last week and played him this week and am quite happy about it! – @luvtractor3

WR Demario Douglas (NE) 45%

With fellow wide receiver Kendrick Bourne out for the season with an ACL tear, Douglas continues to see an expanded role in the Patriots’ offense. On Sunday, Douglas had five catches(on seven targets) for 55 yards. This now marks 14 catches(on 20 targets) for 134 yards combined over the last three games. Although Mac Jones has his limitations, look for Douglas to evolve as the team’s WR1 moving forward. Douglas has weekly WR3/flex appeal with half the teams in the NFL yet to have their bye. – @vandygrad92

RB Zach Charbonnet (SEA) 53%

While suggesting Charbonnet at this point in time is more speculation than production, he has outsnapped fellow running back Kenneth Walker III for two consecutive weeks. In week eight, Charbonnet saw 59 percent of the snaps. Meanwhile, Walker saw 41 percent of the snaps. In week nine, Charbonnet still led the backfield with 55 percent of snaps to Walker’s 49 percent.

Both running backs fared poorly against a stout Ravens’ defense, combining for 24 yards on 13 rushes(Charbonnet had 4 rushes for eight yards). In addition to his minimal rushing statistics, Charbonnet had one catch(on one target) for five yards. The production was much better in week 8, as Charbonnet amassed 64 total yards on seven touches.

With 16 byes remaining over the next five weeks, fantasy owners should stash Charbonnet in hopes that he will start getting double digit weekly touches If this happens, he will become a viable bye week replacement. – @vandygrad92

WR Noah Brown (HOU) 4%

Talk about a breakout week, with arguably the hottest QB in the league. Houston will need to score and move the ball if they want to keep pace with Burrow and company. Wavier wires are slim and with four prime teams on bye weeks this could easily be a worthy dart throw. – @QuinnFloydG

TE Cade Otton (TB) 10%

One of my favorite rookie tight ends last season with Tom Brady under center is finally starting to show some chemistry with Baker Mayfield. This past weekend wasn’t a total fluke as Otton had been getting more targets in this offense over the past couple of weeks. No one saw two touchdowns, but I think Otton can be a top 12-to-15 tight end for the rest of the season. – @GeoffLambert77

QB Bye Young (CAR) 29%

Don’t get me wrong this is ugly and sounds ugly. The Panthers play the Bears and they are awful on defense this is a SuperFlex Bye Week Fill In/Injury Spot Start.

  1. WR Khalil Shakir (BUF) 15%
  2. TE Luke Musgrave (GB) 30%
