Quarterback
Dak Prescott ($6,800)
Dak Prescott is in an incredible spot here at $6,800 vs The Chargers, with an extremely safe floor around 20 DK points and a ceiling near 38 points in the projection model I am using. Don’t get fooled here by the Chargers ranking 3rd vs the Quarterback position on the young season, the sample size is only one game and in that one game they faced Ryan Fitzpatrick. I expect this game to be an absolute shoot-out for the ages, and so does Vegas, the starting total for this was 51 and now has climbed to 55.5 at the time of the article. The Chargers and the Cowboys play at an insane rate of near 75 plays per game, making this a very positive game script.
Running Backs
Najee Harris ($6,300)
Najee Harris is coming off a very quiet Week 1 in which he provided only 5.9 DK Points. Week 2 should be a different story though. Harris gets a solid match-up against the Raiders, which rank 20th vs Running Backs. Harris had 16 carries in Week 1 and added 3 targets vs The Bills. The price tag is solid, the match-up is good, all signs point to yes in Week 2 for Najee Harris.
Chase Edmonds ($4,900)
Chase Edmonds isn’t your normal cash game play don’t get me wrong, but the value is right on point. Looking back at Week 1 where Joe Mixon had success vs The Vikings is a good start. Edmonds is not nearly as good a Joe Mixon, but they both offer similar roles as they both run and catch the ball. Sometimes, you have to find value within your cash line and I think Edmonds offers that here vs The Vikings.
Wide Receivers
CeeDee Lamb ($6,400)
CeeDee Lamb makes a fantastic correlation play in Week 2 with quarterback Dak Prescott. I cannot stress enough how much I love putting this game into not only your tournament lineups, but your cash lineups as well. CeeDee Lamb had an impressive 15 targets in Week 1 vs The Buccaneers, let’s not forget the focal points of this Dallas Offense, it’s Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliot, and Amari Cooper.
Keenan Allen ($7,000)
Keenan Allen is an absolute stud! I’ll say it one last time get players from this game in your lineups! Keenan Allen has been a staple in cash games for a very long time, and for good reason, he’s an absolute target hog. Th Cowboys continue to struggle not only on the defensive side but also in particular the secondary. This game should be the highest-scoring game on the slate, get as many of these guys possible into your lineups!!
Tight-End
Noah Fant ($4,200)
Noah Fant should continue to see a bunch of targets in this offense. Jerry Judy will be out for around 6 weeks. Noah Fant is the 8th highest priced Tight-End in Week 2 on DraftKings, take advantage of that here with some salary relief. Noah Fant saw 8 targets in Week 1, and that number should only increase.
