TE Dawson Knox (BUF) 8% Rostered

When you find yourself in the wasteland of the tight end waiver wire, you’re going to be parched for yards and receptions, hoping for a touchdown oasis here and there to get you through. Dawson Knox is one of those scoring dependent options that hopefully won’t be just a mirage. While he’s only accumulated seven targets thus far, he’s currently outscoring George Kittle and Mark Andrews in most fantasy scoring formats in fantasy points per game.

While the Washington Football Team has yet to surrender a score to a tight end, they’ve ceded 10 receptions and over 100 yards to the position. Knox probably won’t WOW you long term, but he will have on again, off again scores, making him a decent option in a pinch.

WR/RB Cordarrelle Patterson (ATL) 14% Rostered

As crazy as it sounds, Cordarrelle Patterson is currently an RB1. No, scratch that he is a WR2. Either way, you look at it the RB/WR has been a fantasy surprise this season. Through two weeks, Patterson ranks 11th in average fantasy points per game for running backs in PPR scoring. For wide receivers, that average would be good for 24th.

Patterson’s production comes despite only seeing a 33% snape share (48 snaps total). However, on the snaps Patterson does see, he is getting the ball. Patterson has 21 touches overall, including 14 carries and seven receptions. In Week 2, Patterson cashed in on his opportunities scoring two touchdowns and scoring 23.9 fantasy points, good for third on the week.

Patterson is in the flex conversation going forward, and a good option to stream in week 3 against the Browns. The Falcons have been playing from behind all season, and I don’t see that changing. Thus, Patterson should continue to see valuable opportunities.

Furthermore, rostering Patterson comes with that added bonus of dual eligibility at both the running back and wide receiver positions. During the upcoming bye weeks, Patterson may prove to be a very startable option for rosters lacking running back or wide receiver depth.

WR K.J. Osborn (MIN) 9% Rostered

When you think of teams with three good wide receivers you probably don’t think about the Minnesota Vikings. Buy it’s time that we do. KJ Osborn has been a pleasant surprise and if he is still available on your legiue it’s time to go get him off of waivers. He has 7.5 targets per game, which is only one less per game than Adam Thielen. Osborn has 12 receptions, 163 yards and 1 touchdown. Those are very respectible numbers for a player that is the third target on his team. d
Osborn is not.

RB Tony Pollard (DAL) 61% Rostered

Tony Pollard is rostered in most leagues already and rightfully so but he needs to be owned in a 100% of them without question. If he’s available in your league you need to be making whatever moves and decisions necessary to get him on your roster. He looked absolutely explosive yesterday and on a lot of plays, looked to have more burst than dare I say it…Ezekiel Elliot.

Don’t get it twisted, Zeke isn’t going anywhere but Tony Pollard has cemented himself a role in this offense. He finished yesterday with 13 rushes for 109 yards and a touchdown while adding 3 receptions for 31 yards in the air as well. Moving forward he’s going to have stand alone value for the rest of the season and if something we’re to unfortunately happen to Zeke, well then, you have yourself a league winner.

Tony Pollard would be my top waiver wire target for Week 2 if he’s available.

RB James White (NE) 53% Rostered

Even though rookie QB Mac Jones is at the helm, this is the same old Patriots offensive system we’ve seen for years. Short-area, high-percentage, plays and a heavy dose of receptions out of the backfield – mostly going the way of James White.

In addition to his handful of carries, White is essentially a lock for 4+ receptions and about 40 yards through the air. Coming off back to back games with 6 catches and flashing his TD upside last week against the Jets, James White offers one of the safest PPR floors out there and is a player I’m targeting where he’s available.

Eric Romoff @fantasynav

QB Derek Carr (LVR) 29% Rostered

Only owned in 29 percent of.”Sleeper App” redraft leagues, Derek Carr should be your number one add if you need help replacing your underperforming starters(Ryan Tannehill and Jalen Hurts for example). Through two games on the season, Carr has completed 62 of 93 pass attempts(66.7 percent) for a league leafing 817 yards and four touchdowns.

In 2020, Carr had thirty total touchdowns and passed for 4103 yards(finishing the year as Sleeper’s QB14). This marked the seventh straight year that Carr had finished as QB20 or higher. Before his bye in week 8, he does not face a defense that finished 2020 within the top ten of least fantasy points given up.

Although he is currently listed as questionable(ankle) for week three, head coach Jon Gruden “believes he will be able to play”. If he plays, expect him to be at least a lower end QB1 option.

RB J.D. McKissic (WFT) 39% Rostered

The narrative this offseason was that McKissic’s value was tied to check down quarterback, Alex Smith and after Week 1 it looked that way. However, with the game on the line and the Washington Football Team needing move down the field to win the game, it was McKissic who was on the field, not Antonio Gibson.

Will McKissic be an every week starter? No. But, he can be a worth injury/bye-week fill in. His six targets was four of the team, which is impressive when you consider he only played 36-percent of the snaps.

Geoff Lambert @geofflambert77

WR Rondale Moore (ARI) 51% Rostered

Rondale Moore is averaging a 19% target share in a pass heavy offense. The Cardinals have run 70 pass plays to 53 run plays. They also have the top fantasy QB in football right now. Moore is an add in every format go get him..

Jared Good @TheYetiExpress
