2022 Stats: 17car 70yds

2022 Summary

Ok, so it’s not the best stats for a rookie RB, but he was behind Jacobs who had an incredible season.  The key here is that Josh Jacobs is a free agent and of course, Vegas will add other backs, but White has what is needed given the chance.  As a Georgia Bulldog, he was the lead rusher and helped them win a National Championship.  In his last season with the Bulldogs, he had 160 carries for 856 yards.  Yes, he is injury prone and college is vastly different than the NFL, but I believe in this kid.  At 6 feet and 215 lbs, he has the power to bust through lines and tacklers.  He is solid, hard to take down in the open field, and has the raw speed and talent to perform at this level.  With Carr gone and the unknown of the quarterback, the Raiders would be smart to allow White to show what he learned from Jacobs.

2023 Outlook

Jacobs’ 5th year option was declined. That’s it! The Raiders moved up in the draft last year to grab White in the 4th round. So, obviously the front office liked him and they need to see what they have by giving him the opportunity. As the team looks for a QB, why make things harder by looking for a top tier RB too. The Raiders aren’t big on RBBC, so make White RB1 and snag some complements to aid him.

2023 Projection: 202 attempts, 800 (plus) yards, 7 TDS

Breakout Confidence Level: 60/40 Because the Raiders might go window shopping for another RB.
