Ultimate Rookie Report Week 11

Bills stink. It’s very confusing. Patriots Stink. It’s less confusing. Panthers stink. It’s the least confusing.

If you’re looking for a more in depth analysis in the opening paragraph, look at last week’s about Josh Dobbs. Still amazing. He won again.

These rankings are for PPR people, but they’re pretty similar if you play standard.

5. Bijan Robinson (17.6)

Where’s Bijan? There he is! I’m sure this isn’t the type of peekaboo fantasy managers wanted to play with a first round pick, but here we are. It is nice to see him back on our list. Bijan had 22 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown. He also had a catch for 11 yards. The targets have gone down considerably since the switch to Taylor Heinicke and that is no bueno. The Falcons have managed to take an incredible player who seemed like an easy lock to be rookie of the year and completely misuse him. Sounds familiar but I can’t quite put my Kyle Pitts or Drake London on it…
Bijan is currently RB9.

4. Tank Dell (18.9)

Tank Dell continues to be CJ Stroud’s favorite target. When you have a great quarterback throwing to a good wide receiver, you’re bound to create some fantasy magic. Tank only caught six of his 14 targets, but he had 56 yards and a touchdown.
Tank is currently WR26

3. CJ Stroud (19.04)

Another solid performance against a quality opponent for CJ Stroud. 23/39 for 356 yards and a touchdown. He did unfortunately have an interception and two fumbles lost, but there’s bound to be some growing pains for a rookie. Beating the Cincinnati Bengals is easily the biggest win of young CJ’s career and puts the Texans ahead in a tie breaker scenario for the wildcard in the future (if they don’t win the AFC South outright). At least we have one good rookie in this draft class. Fun gambling fact: after this week, Vegas has CJ Stroud dominating the offensive rookie of the year odds. It would take a 2000 dollar bet to win 100. Honestly, it’s probably worth it.
CJ is currently QB7

2. Jayden Reed (19.4)

Jayden Reed caught all five of his targets for 84 yards and a touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s had flashes this season but the inconsistency that is Jordan Love makes it impossible to count on Reed on a weekly basis.
Jayden is currently WR42

1. Jahmyr Gibbs (26.2)

Three straight weeks (well, with a bye week in between) of over 26 points for Gibbs. The year started slow, but he is finally crushing stat lines. Outcarrying Montgomery this week (14 to 12), Gibbs ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns. He also had three receptions for 35 yards.
Jahmyr is currently RB13

Good luck with your playoff pushes. We’re almost in the end game.

Sincerely,

@MeLlamoMoron
