Waiver Wire Week 11 (#FantasyFootball)

Fantasy Football Top Waiver Adds Week 11

Anthony Miller WR (Bears)

(ESPN ownership 13.4%)

The talent and flashes have shown all season for the rookie receiver and with the return of Allen Robinson to the lineup it opened things up for Miller to shine. The rookie receiver showed his big-play ability by catching 5 of 6 targets for 122 yards and a TD. Miller now has two games straight with 5 catches and has seen a steady increase in targets this season. Miller is slowly starting to break out, don’t be too late.

Rashaad Penny RB (Seahawks)

(ESPN ownership 13.1%)

This is the game everyone has been patiently waiting for from Rashaad Penny. The first round pick went off having 12 carries for 108 yards and a touchdown. While this is exciting proceed with caution, Mike Davis had two more touches and Chris Carson could return soon. Penny is definitely worth grabbing for the upside come playoffs but be patient.

Jacquizz Rodgers RB (Buccaneers)

(ESPN ownership 0.8%)

The running back position is beat up and anyone adding value is a must add. With Jacquizz Rodgers finally being healthy he adds a nice value in the passing game. Rodgers was targeted 8 times for 8 catches and a hundred yards. While this production isn’t going to be the norm at all it is a sign of the opportunity to put up usable opportunities.

Lamar Jackson QB (Ravens)

(ESPN ownership 9.4%)

This one is more of a Superflex add than anything. With Joe Flacco’s health and the starting job in flux, Lamar Jackson could take over and give nice value. Jackson is one of the most electric runners at the quarterback position in recent memory and gives a nice floor for fantasy production. If he is able to match his throwing ability with it he could be a stream worthy guy in the future as well as a Superflex starter.

Frank Gore RB (Dolphins)

(ESPN ownership 33.0%)

I’m actually surprised he’s available in so many leagues. The ageless Frank Gore now has seven straight games of double-digit carries and as beat up as the position is he’s a must add. There’s nothing exciting, in fact, it’s a downright boring addition. The thing is you can start him in the flex in a pinch and not worry about being shut out at the position.

Zay Jones WR (Bills)

(ESPN ownership 0.9%)

I’ve wanted this breakout to happen for a long time now. Coming out of college Zay Jones flashed as a receiver who could make a huge impact in the NFL. Thus far into his career, it’s been a rough go between terrible QB play and an off the field incident. This week the Bills passing game got going for the first time and a lot of it went thru him. Zay was targeted 11 times for 93 yards and a TD. If he is able to keep showing his ability to make an impact this could be big going forward.

Ricky Seal-Jones TE (Cardinals)

(ESPN ownership 13.8%)

Seals-Jones has the talent to be an impact player all that’s been missing is the chance. With David Johnson finally starting to get going in the offense it opens everything up for the playmakers and Seals-Jones is one of them. This week he was targeted nine times, while the yardage wasn’t great at 51 without a TD it’s still a promising sign going forward.

John Ross WR (Bengals)

(ESPN ownership 17.5%)

With AJ Green out John Ross stepped into his role in week 10, it wasn’t pretty but he was targeted 9 times and managed to get into the end zone. Ross has the draft pedigree and has battled injuries since he’s been in the league. This could be the time for the Bengals to test out what they got in the electric receiver. Ross has incredible upside but has a floor that could fall out at any time.
